A New Beginning

War

Michonne walks the streets in the Commonwealth and stumbles across a stage that the members are currently building. Her eyes widened as she knows what they're planning. She walks over to a building and hides behind it, bringing out her walkie and raising it to her mouth. "AJ, you there?" She quietly whispers. A couple of seconds pass by with static. "I'm here." He responds. Michonne exhales, relieved that he picked up. "AJ, it's going to be a public execution. You need to get here fast." She replies. "Start setting the C-4's in the locations that we talked about. When you tell me you're good to go, that's when we'll sneak in and kill Pamela and Officer Mercer. We're gonna win this, Michonne. We have to." AJ responds. Michonne nods. "Going to plant them now. I'll reach you when I'm done." "Copy that." The conversation ends and Michonne sets her walkie in her back pocket and walks to the street. She glances over at the guard towers by the front and the back gates. She counts seven men total. Four at the front and three at the back. She takes a deep breath. "Let's do this." She says to herself.

Tyler's POV

Tyler sits in his cell, handcuffs on him as Officer Mercer stands guard at his cell. "You fucked up, boy." He calls out to Tyler. "Shouldn't have done what you did." He finishes. Tyler raises his head up and grins at Officer Mercer. Officer Mercer notices this and takes offense to it. "The fuck you smiling about?" He asks. Tyler chuckles. "You assholes don't know what's comin'." Tyler responds and begins laughing. "Shut up." Officer Mercer demands. Tyler ignores and continues to hysterically laugh. "I said shut up!" Officer Mercer yells as Tyler continues. Officer Mercer unlocks the cell door and walks in and kicks Tyler in the face, making him go unconscious. Three body armored soldiers enter inside the basement and stand by the stairs as they call out to Officer Mercer. "Officer Mercer, Pamela needs you in her office right away." One calls out. Officer Mercer turns around and nods. He exits the cell and closes the cell door, locking it in the process. The four soldiers leave the basement and Tyler lays there in his bed.

Michonne's POV

Michonne heads to the back gate first. She approaches the soldiers as they look out for any signs of human life or undead. "Excuse me gentlemen, but Pamela sent me here for you to get Officer Mercer from the basement. Says she needs him in her office right away." She lies. They turn around immediately and nod. "Thank you." One replies. They leave the back gate and begin heading to the basement as Michonne watches them. Once they're out of sight, she places the C-4 on the back gate, making sure no one can see it. She takes three steps back and can no longer see the explosive. She sighs and makes her way to the front gate.

AJ's POV

AJ begins loading magazines into guns and sets them in the bag. He takes out his Python and pulls out the cylinder. Fully loaded. He sets it back in and holsters his gun. He grabs the crossbow off of the wall and loads bolts into the quiver. He fills it up fully and places a bolt in the flight groove. He swings the strap over his shoulder and carries the bag with automatic weapons, handguns, ammo, and silencers. He leaves the armory and heads over to his house. He enters inside and picks up Derek's leather gloves and puts them on. He glares at the picture and takes a deep breath. "This ends tonight. Be with me." He pleads. He kisses the picture and leaves his house. He approaches the truck and sets the bag in the passenger seat. "Where are you going?" A patrolman asks while taking watch in the guard tower by the front gate. AJ looks up and raises his arm to block the sun to get a better view. "I'm going out to end this war with the Commonwealth." AJ replies firmly. The patrolman then delivers a confused expression. "By yourself?" He questions. "Yeah, by myself." AJ responds. He places himself in the driver seat and closes the driver side door. "You sure that's a good idea? Why not take someone with you?" The patrolman calls out. "I got two people that are with us at the Commonwealth. Me, Michonne, and Tyler are ending this tonight." AJ replies. The patrolman nods and climbs down the ladder and approaches the gate. He slides it and AJ inserts the keys in the ignition, starting it up. He switches to drive and begins driving on the open road with the walkie talkie laying on the right side of his brown suede leather jacket.
