Tina x Raph

I stared the hothead down, or rather I tried and failed. I could never look into his amazing green eyes for more than a few seconds without blushing.  I huffed and turned and walked into my temporary room in the turtles' lair. 

I had been sitting and watching them train again like I usually do, I still wasn't sure if I wanted to train with them.  I had overheard Raph mentioning I was too weak and that's why I wasn't training with them.

Normally when people insult me I can just ignore it, but not so easily when it was from the one guy I had had a crush on since I met him.

yeah, me, Tina the wimpy shy girly girl has a crush on the bad boy she has no chance with. Sounds like quite the love story doesn't it? the only one who knows anything about how I feel about Raph is Leo. He is the best person ever, I consider him to be the best big brother I never had.

I sat on my bed imagining all kinds of scenarios where I could finally tell Raph I liked him, but they always ended up with him not liking me because he would want a tougher girl.  I sighed and walked back out of my room to the kitchen.

Leo was in there by himself, he looked at me and said, "you alright?"

"Yeah I guess so, I just am running out of time to tell him I like him while I still might have a .001percent of him finding me even slightly attractive."

"why is your time limited?"

"I'm getting braces today and nobody would want to date a brace face."

"I'm sure that isn't true," Leo said trying to keep my mood up.

"yeah, and what would you know about it?"

I left before he could answer, and before I was going to be late for my orthodontist appointment.  Walking up to the building my stomach sank to my knees.

I walked in and told them my name, the lady behind the desk told me that since my father had already paid for everything I could go on back and sit in a chair and wait.

I walked back and looked at all of the chairs, they were all red. Great I thought to myself this is going to be torture before I even see him again.

An hour later my entire face hurt it felt like I had been punched in the jaw multiple times. I headed back to the lair and pulled out some pain meds and swallowed them with some water. The e shock of pain that came with the cup hitting my teeth told me I wasn't going to eat for a few days...I was okay with it right now because chewing anything or talking to. anyone seemed out of the question for a few days as well.

I fell asleep after the pain meds kicked in so I had a peaceful nights rest for the first time in a long time.  I woke up to the sound of arguing, I didn't really want to get involved because that meant I had to move my mouth.

I heard my name thrown into the conversation/argument and I got up and walked out into the hallway.  Leo and Raph were standing there and Raph saw me and said, "see she is just now getting up and we've been up for hours training already Leo.  I told you she will never be able to really be one of us."

I lost it then.

"who the shell do you think you are Raph?" I shouted in his face as the tears already started falling.

"I just call it like I see it, and what the shell happened to your mouth since yesterday morning?"

that's when the tears really came.

"SCREW YOU TOO RAPH!" I screamed as I ran out of the lair to my apartment where I live with my dad. I hadn't been there in a few days since I've been sleeping at the lair

Leo's. P.O.V.

"RAPH WHAT THE SHELL, WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?" I shouted in his face as soon as Tina was out of earshot.

"Well I am right, she needs to get up earlier if she wants to train with us,"

"No you.idiot why would you insult her!"

"I ju......"

"No, you go apologize to her tonight, and I mean leave and follow her now."

"How the shell am I supposed to know where she's going?"

"She's at her dad's I guarantee it, no GO!"

Tina's P.O.V.

I walked into my apartment and passed my dad without a word and went straight up to my room.  I threw myself into my bed and just let the tears and sobs come out, there was no point in holding them in now.

After about 20mins. I ran out of tears so I got up and went out to sit on the fire escape. It was nice and quiet outside, I felt the tears drying on my face.

outloud I said, " I can't believe I even liked him, I never had a chance with Raph anyway. I'm too girly and not tough enough for him, I don't know why I ever even tried."

it really hurt to say it or even think it but I really just needed to say it outloud so I could maybe get over Raph, but how do you get over a guy like him.

I could feel fresh tears making their way down my face and I let them fall, I didn't care anymore.

"you.....you really liked me?"

a voice came from the shadows at the opposite end if the fire escape.  I jumped so badly I almost fell out of the chair.  I recognized that voice and it certainly wasn't one I wanted to hear right now

"what do you want Raph?" I asked my words.dripping in venom.

"I'm here to apologize....I'm sor...I'm sorry Tina, I shouldn't have said those things, I was just mad,"

"I can't accept that apology,"

"why?"

"because I don't believe it......why were you mad anyway?"

"I like you and I wanted to train with you to get to know you better, and the thing with your face was its a little swelled up, it just came out wrong because I was yelling at Leo. I thought some purple Dragon scum had beaten you up.  oh and I think you're super cute.with your girly girl antics. they're adorable."

I felt another tear start to fall as he finished, this is why I loved the hothead, he had a softer side.

As the tar fell he came closer and lightly kissed me, his lips were soft and light on mine.  he leaned back a little and said, "now will you forgive me and be my adorable girlfriend?"

"Kiss me again and I'm yours Raphie,"

he smiled at nickname and quickly came close and kissed me again, this time more passionately.
