Jess x Leo

Leo’s P.O.V.

“LEO!!!!!!!” Jessica’s shrill voice pierced the morning air of our new home.  A few miles down the sewers where I grew up.

“Jess! Where are you are you okay?”  The worry snuck through my usually sleepy morning voice as I fell out of the bed.

“I’m in here Leo,”  She said her voice much calmer now, “You can come in.”

I opened the bathroom door and saw her sitting on the floor holding a small stick in her fist.

“Jess hon are you okay?” I put my hand on her shoulder lowering myself down to the floor next to her.

She looked up at me seeing the concern in my deep mysterious blue eyes and she smiled as she opened her mouth and said,  “I’m pregnant.”

I sat still and processed it, my eyes lit up and I was speechless for a few seconds when I tried to say something I stuttered, “We...we….were...were going to have a baby?”  My joy came through in the question and I laughed as the happy tears began rolling down my face.  I rushed forwards and kissed Jess pushing her up against the cabinet. 

“I love you so much Jess you have once again made me the happiest man alive.  I’m going to be a daddy.”  I always knew I wanted to be a dad someday,  Jess was the best mom our child would ever have I felt the joy pouring out of me through my smile into her lips so I released her.

She simply smiled and nodded as joy was contagious she wrapped her hands around my neck as I picked her up and carried Jess to the sofa.  

“A great dad too,”  She said kissing me as I set her down.

“When are we going to tell Splinter and the guys that they are going to be uncles and a grandfather?” I asked stroking Jessica’s cheek.

“Now, tell them we are going to have a party here tonight but don’t tell them what for.”

“Mmmmk beautiful mommy-to-be.” I finished kissing my beautiful wife on the lips.

    Still Leo's P.O.V.

  I walked into the kitchen of.our home, it seemed like a different place ever since we found out Jess was pregnant eight and a half months ago. Don said she was due any day now. I can't wait, I just hope I can be the best dad to our baby I could be. I pulled open the cupboard door in front of me laughing at all of the baby food in front of me. I grabbed the cereal from the back and poured myself a bowl waiting for Jess to wake up. she hadn't been sleeping well since the baby started kicking.  I took a deep breath thinking about what the gender of our baby was. Jes and Don are the only ones who know the gender of the baby.  I agreed I would let Jess pick the name when she told me she wanted to surprise me with the gender. Don has helped her set up the baby's room so I don't know anything. it has just been my job to take care of mom.

I finished my bowl of cereal and began washing it.  I heard a shout from the bedroom.

"LEO WE NEED TO GO NOW!!!"it was Jess screaming.

it scared me so much I dropped and shattered the bowl. leaving the mess on the floor I hauled associated to the bedroom seeing Jess standing by the dresser over a puddle of water. I stared at her swollen belly and nodded.

"I'll get the bag and the shellcar  ready,"

she nodded and began walking towards the car, I stopped her noticing the sweat beads starting to form in her forehead. I kissed her and whispered, "You'll do fine mama."

we drove in silence along the subway tunnels I held her hand as I drove.  she would squeeze by hand hard every time the contractions came.  I thought she was going to break my hand as we stopped outside of the old lair where we planned on having the birth happens here since the medical wing in Don's old lab was still fully equipped.

as we stepped out I yelled for Don holding my wife's hand as she squeezed hard again turning both of our knuckles white. Don walked out of the living room and motioned towards his lab.  We followed, I turned to Jess and said, "Honey you're going to have to let go otherwise I won't be able to help Don," my voice came out high pitched due to the pain shooting thorough my hand and arm from her grip.

she laughed throuh the pain letting go of my hand and instead clutching to the edge of my shell.

"Oh and there'd something I wanna tell you," she said looking fully at my face pulling my chin towards her.

"yes mommy to be?"

"it's a boy,"

"really?" I said my joy shining through.

"yeah," she said kissing me then pausing and tell look on her face changed to shock. her hand dropped to her stomachs,  "and oh boy is he coming," she swaddled the lab leaving me behind still processing what she had said. I snapped out of it and followed. When I walked in Don already had on his gloves and coat.  He handed me a pair of gloves abd an extra set of gloves.

"hope your ready daddy because your gonna deliver your baby," he said.

I almost dropped the gloves, I just shook it off and pulled them on and stood by Jess's feet as I helped her up onto the table and she put one of her feet into the stirrups letting the other one hang for a while to rest.

"Oh shit!" she screamed a few seconds later bring her foot to the stirrup so fast I flinched thinking I was about to get kicked.

"Dieter Leonardo Yushi Hamato keep your pants on you're definitely coming out TODAY," She finished with a yell.

"I love his name Hon," I said trying to distract her from the pain.

I watched as Don gave her a pain shot in the back. He looked at me and asked, "ready?"

"I guess so, not like I can really wait,"

he laughed a little and began instructing Jess and I on what to do.

two short hours later we were all slathered in sweat and Jess was screaming as she gave one final push and the...my baby boy slid out into the towel I had waiting in my arms. Don came over and cut the umbilical cord and cleaned up the area putting Jesse's legs down slowly and then helping me clear the baby's nostrils and throat.

within seconds he was crying and screaming and I was tearing up as well. I walked up to mom with our baby in my arms and handed him to her.

"hey little Dieter, meet mama," I smiled as she lit up at the sight of our baby in her arms. I began to really look at him now. His skin was the same forest green as mine was but he for sure had his mom's nose and slim hands.  He opened his eyes and looked at us still screaming. my heart stopped, his eyes were all dark blue like mine but with lighter streaks through them that are the same color of Jess's eyes.  I smiled knowing everything was going to be okay now that our baby boy was here.
