Rocket x Raph

I sighed as I walked into my room.  I'd been living with the turtles for a few months now and granted they were easy to live with as far as guys go.  The hardest part about living with them was having a crush on one of them. What makes it worse is he doesn't like me back.

I thought about him, he was stubborn and hot headed but I liked that about Raph, he just didn't like me...and seeing him every day hurt more than anything else I had ever gone through before.

As I geared up for my own nightly patrol, the one the guys don't know about, I sighed zipping up the jacket.  I am the Nightwatcher,  I looked at my reflection in the mirror. My long caramel hair cascaded down to just past my shoulders.  Thank God my helmet kept it all hidden.

As I left the lair I was glad I choose to leave after the guys so I don't have to worry about sneaking past them.  I climbed silently out of a manhole in an alley way near the Purple Dragon's hideout.

I climbed up to the roof of the nearest building waiting for my night to begin.  As if the gods were listening as soon as I settled into a catchers position a group of five of the scumbags.  I waited to see where they were going and who they were going after.  I saw a group of girls walking up the street behind them, the scumbags noticed and hid in the alley I came out of.

When the girlsd were level with the alley they were all grabbed and pulled into the darkness.  That's when I jumped down to meet and greet my guests.

"I wouldn't be messing with these ladies if I was you." I said standing slowly pulling out my twin daggers.  I only used them when I was the Nightwatcher, but that didn't mean I wasn't as good with these compared to my other weapon, a single katana.

The Purple Dragons let the girls go saying," well if we can't have them I guess we'll all have to share you sweet thing."

That pissed me off and I let loose all of my anger and frustrations about Raph on the stupid meatheads.  I kicked the first two in the chest sending them flying mad knocking them out. The third got a swift kick where it counts then my knee to his face knocking him out instantly.  I was then hit on the head by one of the remaining two with a wooden plank.

I stumbled and fell, before I could stand up again I heard a thud behind. my and some grunting.  I turned and standing there was Raph.

with my thickest Boston accent possible I said,"  thanks for the help buddy, but ya know, I could've handled the bozos myself"

"yeah right, and where would that have gotten you?  into a deep pile of trouble,  but you still are in deep trouble..." he trailed off after looking deep into my eyes.

Again with the accent,"look buddy I don't know what you're....."

"Alex, I'm not stupid."

"Shit."

"yeah you certainly are in deep shit once I tell the guys and Splinter

"Ya...*clears throat and drops accent* you wouldn't dare!"

"Its not safe for you to be doing things like this Alex!"

Before I could say anything else he grabbed me around the waist and threw me over his shoulder and carried me to the nearest manhole.  I knew I had to be quiet as i wouldn't attract attention so I settled for pounding on his shell and kicking my legs.

"Could ya make it any harder to keep a hold of ya?" He asked as we dropped into the sewer below the city streets the lights of New York dissapeared above our heads.

He dropped me and grabbed my arm to keep me from running.  I blushed in the darkness.  I loved the closeness but I hated it because he didn't feel the same.  We walked back to the lair his grip was tight but not so tight that I lost circulation just enough that I knew he wasn't letting me go.

As we walked in I hung my head low waiting for the spark to start the wildfire of trouble I was about to be in.

"Sensei?!"

        "Raphael, is everything all right my son, where are your brothers?"

        "They're fine, I'm here about Alex. I found her playing Vigilante on the surface, if I hadn't showed up she would have been...well...in a bad situation."

At his words I suddenly realized he was right, he saved me from being raped and possibly killed tonight.

        "Alex is this true?"

        "Hai Sensei, it is, I'm sorr..."

        "You could have been hurt!"

        "Sensei I..."

        "Alexandria! You know I love you as my daughter, I'm sorry but you need to learn your lesson.  You are grounded and under house arrest.  Your sentence is over when I deem it so. 

        "But..."

        "And to make sur eyou follow rules, Raphael, you will be watching her at all times"

        "Hai Sensei," He said I could hear the saddness in his voice.

        "You are dissmissed."

As we walked out I felt the tears start to fall silently. I kept my face out of Raph's view as we walked silently to the kitchen.  I sat down on the bar stool and laid my head on my arms as he moved around the kitchen. Probably getting something to eat.

I felt my body begin to shake as the tears came harder and faster.

I heard a sigh then a few soft steps towards me.  He laid his hand on the back of my head.

I croaked out, "I'm sorry, and thanks for saving me you were right and I'm just," The tears made it impossible to continue.

"Shh,  It's all right youre safe and thats all that matters to me."

I suddenly stopped crying and put my head up as I turned to him and sat up fully.  He wrapped his arms around my waist and put his forehead on mine.

"Alex, if anythin ever happened to you...I don't know what I'd do..."

I tilted my head up and looked him in the eyes and smiled slightly, "Raph what are you getting at?"

"I...I really like you Alex, so...do you wanna be my..umm...girlfriend?"

I smiled and laughed, "Yes, I'd be honored to date my bodyguard Raphie."

He smiled, "Good then you wouldn't mind,"  He leaned forewards and pressed his lips softly to mine.
