Jet x Raph

Raph's P.O.V.

    

 I was off by myself in the dojo punching away at the heavyweight punching bag in thecorner where Splinter kept it for me.  I was pissed after a fight with Leo.  He wanted to take Jet with us on patrol.  I thought about it as I continued beating on the bag. 

She'd been with us for a month and had been training with us for three weeks.  She was very good...but I didn't want to see her get hurt.  I didn't know what was wrong with me.  It has nothing to do with me, so I didn't know why I had such a problem with it.

I gave the bag one last roundhouse kick sending it against the wall.  I took a deep shaky breath letting it out slowly as I left the dojo.

I walked to the kitchen as I passed the Living room I noticed Leo and Mikey watching space heroes and Jet was reading.  I looked around the kitchen nit sure if I was hungry or just bored.  My stomach had been in knots ever since Jet came here to live with us.  I thought about her going on patrol with us and it made my gut twist.

All of a sudden it made sense...I couldn't eat, sleep, or even train properly at the thought of her in danger. I was in love with the tough little girl.  I sighed and walked back out to the living room. I stood quietly in background looking at Jet from behind her as she was sitting on the couch reading.  She was ABSOLUTLY beautiful now that I just enjoyed looking at her.  Her long black hair cascaded down her back to almost her waist.  I smiled as her delicate hands caressed the pages as she turned them.

I spent the next few hours just enjoying her company in the lair with a really stupid smile on my face. I tried hiding it and it just looked like my usual smirk.  Before I realised what I was doing I sat down next to her and threw my arm around her.

She jumped and looked at me, "Raph, you freaking scared me!"

I blushed and stuttered slightly "sorry I wa..was ju um.. getting my pop."

I reached behind her head and grabbed an empty can of Pepsi.  I got up and speedily walked to the kitchen with it.

What the hell was that Raph?! I asked my self in my head.  I went to my room to wait for patrol.

A  half hour later Leo came calling for Patrol.

I geared up and walked across the turnstiles to leave with the crew. We were on foot tonight not using the patrol buggies because it was getting too cold to use them.

We headed out as a team and split up later. Leo was by himself headed West, Mikey and Donnie went south, Jet and I had North and as soon as everybody was done we'd head East as a team.

As Jet and I started off I thoroughly enjoyed spending the quiet time running from roof to roof who her even though it was in complete silence.

We stopped to take a break after 20mins of nonstop running.  She looked at me and blushed slightly bc I had been staring.  She looked away and gasped.  "Raph, purple Dragons!"

I leaned over the edges and smiled, "let's roll."  I blushed realizing how close our faces were.

We jumped down as a pair of shadows landing on two of the seven dirtbags.  The force of our impact knocked them both out instantly.  A huge fight ensued with the remaining five.  I had three surrounding me...good I thought, Jet doesn't need tis kind of shit since she's still kinda new to it.  I punched and kicked out of joy at expending my energy for the first time in a week.

I dropped the third one and heard a scream that made my blood run cold in my veins.  I spun to see one holding her down as the other  was approaching with a knife.   I saw red as I launched myself at him from behind.

  I beat with my fists harder than ever before only one strike though. He fell unconscious after it anyways.  I looked up at the one holding her still.   Drop her now unless you don't wanna see daylight again you scumbag.

He got away from her and ran for his life. I let him pass and ran to Jet.  I helped her up and checked her over, "you alright?"

"Yeah, man you got scary protective Raph."

"What can I say, I will protect the one who I love with my life."

She stopped and looked up, "one?"

"Yep, you're my one Jet, it took me a while to figure it out but I love you Jet and I'd do anything to keep you safe sweetheart."

"Well, if I'm you're one then you're my only."

She reached up and kissed me.  I was stunned at first but then I reached my hands around her waist as her hands encircled my neck.  I picked her up a little and smiled in the kiss. I broke apart slightly to say, "I love you Jet."
