Chapter 5
                              |Alyana Owens|
My body was cold. My skin looked pale. My eyes were blood shot red. I looked around and noticed nothing, but darkness beyond this mirror that floated in front of me. Am I dead? Where am I?
"Alyana." I hear someone whisper. I turn around quickly but I see no one.
"Alyana." The voice calls again. Again I see no one.
                              "Alyana."
"Who's there? What do you want?" I shouted.
"That's no way to talk to your mother Alyana." My mom popped up in front if me. I looked at her. She looked just as beautiful as she did before she died.
                              "M-mommy." I stammered.
"Yes come we must talk." She said holding her hand out. I put my hand in hers and we began to walk into a green field.
"Alyana I just want you to know no matter what happens I'll always love you. But I want you to promise me something baby."
                              "What is it mama?"
                              "Let it go."
"What do you mean? Let what go?"
"The blade, the pain, the hatred, just let it go for me. I've watched over you and God has given me this chance to talk with you. Alyana it's okay to feel not wanted or loved, but as long as you love yourself no one can ever take that away from you. That young man, Keith, be nice to him, love him, teach him, believe in him, give that young man your all. Do you hear me?" I nodded.
                              "Yes ma'am."
"He can help you but I know you're stubborn so your going to find out the hard way." She shook her head.
"My poor child. Everything works out in its on time sweetheart. I have to go but know that your father and I love you, endlessly." She said. She kissed my forehead and disappeared.
"One more time we're losing her!" I hear someone yell.
                              "WAIT! Her eyes are open."
"If you can hear me blink twice." I blinked twice.
"Let's get her stable and into a room." He said. After that I was gone again.
I woke up from the best sleep I ever hard in my life. I haven't slept this good since my parents were alive. I opened my eyes to a dimly lit room. No one was in here and I was thankful for that. I just rested my eyes enjoying the peace and quiet.
The door to my room opened up, but I still kept my eyes closed and my breathing mellowed.
"You're such a fucking disgrace. Trying to leave me bitch! Next time you try to kill yourself I'll finish the job." I hear my uncle whisper harshly in my ear before he pressed his nasty lips to mine. I didn't move. I wanted him to think I was still sleeping. After a while he pulled away.
"Wait until you get better I'm going to show you what it's like to try and leave me all night long." He said. Then he walked out. I sighed once I heard the door close. Tears just steamed down my face.
                              ●●●●●●●
I've been home for the past three weeks healing. Luckily my uncle went out of town bad part about it he locked me in the house and took my phone. So I haven't even been to school or seen my friends since. I just lay in my room listening to music until I fall asleep. I'm proud of myself because I haven't touched my blade which is a work in progress. My old scars are healed and are becoming unnoticeable.
I hear the front door open and slam shut. I quickly lock my room door and pretend to be sleep.
I hope he just goes away.
                              |Keith Daniels|
Almost a fucking month and none of us have heard from or seen Alyana. I've been so worried about her. I don't know if she's alive or what but I need to check on her once I leave the trap.
                              ●●●●●●●
I pull up to Alyana house. Something didn't sit right with me. I just didn't know what it was. I got out cutting the car off.
I could hear things being thrown and small whimpers on the other side of the door.
"I-I'm sorry. I'll never do it again." Is that Alyana? I could barely make out the voice over the loud sound of something crashing. I was about to knock when my phone went off.
"Shit." I mumbled. I quickly answered it and got back in my car speeding off.
                              "Yeah?"
"We got a problem." Rony said.
                              "What?"
"Them Northside niggas hit up one of our traps."
                              "Which one?"
                              "The one on Jackson St."
"Iight I'll be there in 20." I hung up.
Shit always happen when I'm dealing with something important.
