Stepping out of the shower, Hennessy sighed in relief. They say home is where the heart is, and she had finally made it back.
She was happy that the war was over, and glad that Terror had came out victorious.
The recent situation with Drew had only showed her that she couldn't let people in as easily as she did.
She had jeopardized Terror's life and Kairi's chance to grow up normally.
She had told Drew everything about her, and she thanked God she never showed him the place Terror slept at night.
"You good?"
The same words he asked her the first day they met.
"I'm great, you can come in." Terror walked in to see Hennessy in her towel.
"How you feeling ma?" He sat down beside her on the bed they once shared.
"Grateful." Hennessy looked over to see Terror already watching her.
Silence filled the room for a while before Terror spoke.
"You know I never meant to hurt you right Hennessy?"
A small smile found its way on Hennessy's face as she looked at the man in-front of her.
She nodded her head slowly before cupping his face in her hand.
"I know Terror."
She watched as a tear made its way down his cheek and wet her hand.
"Nah Hennessy, I don't think you understand how I felt when you left, and when we couldn't find you, it felt like I was slowly dying. I don't want to ever feel that way again, and I don't want to go a day without you. I don't think I can take it."
By now both had tears in their eyes.
Hennessy placed her forehead on his as she caressed his face with her hand.
