                                                                                          Alessia

Alessia was sitting in the cafeteria with her group, minus Elijah and Charlie, who was sitting with the more popular dancers. It had been five days since they came underground, and five days since Charlie had spoken to her. He was giving her the silent treatment, and she didn't know why. When she woke up that morning, he was gone, and when she tried to talk to him he hardly paid attention to her and brushed her off. It hurt, yes. But it shouldn't have. They weren't together. He didn't do girlfriends. Plus there was no indication from him that he even felt that way toward her.

"Hello? Earth to Alessia," April snapped her out of her trance.

"Sorry, zoned out," She apologized.

Nick tilted his head in confusion. "Yeah, we could see that,"

"Are you okay?" Cole asked.

She smiled. "Fine,"

"Alright, well, I think we should go back to dance because I miss it and even if there are no classes doesn't mean we can't make our own," James smiled.

Daisy clapped her hands. "Me too, let's go to studio 7,"

"I'll be there in a bit," Alessia said, gaining a smile from everyone as they walked off, leaving her. She sighed and got up to walk over to Elijah, who inconveniently was with people who hated her. As soon as she walked to them, the table got silent and all eyes were on her. "Um, Elijah?" She poked his shoulder. He turned to her and a big smile immediately spread across his face, making a small smile appear on her as well.

"Hey, sis,"

"Come with me?" she asked.

He nodded. "Yeah! See you guys later," The table continued to stare at her. Alessia's eyes landed on Charlie who was staring at her with an angry expression, causing her to furrow her eyebrows in confusion. She didn't know what she did to make him so mad. "So, what do you need?" Elijah asked warmly.

"Well, we're having a dance class on our own, and I was wondering if you wanted to join us?"

"Yeah, of course. Let's go!"

As they made their way to the studio, Charlie popped out of nowhere, causing Alessia to bump into him. "Watch where you're going," he snapped.

"Screw you," she growled, surprising herself.

He stopped for a moment, turning to her and staring at her with an angry expression. "Excuse me?"

"You heard me, Charlie," She didn't know where all of her confidence was coming from. She was just tired of him being angry at her for no reason. She heard Elijah chuckle next to her as they walked away from him. "What?" She huffed.

Elijah chuckled. "Nothing," he put his hands up in surrender. "I just thought you guys were cool, is all."

She grumbled as they entered the studio. "That makes two of us,"

"Who's ready to dance and completely ignore the fact that the world is ending?" Daisy shouted playfully. Everyone laughed and made their way to bars.

They did pointe, jazz then ended with hip-hop. By the end of the day, they were all exhausted and went to their rooms.
Alessia entered her room and got ready for bed. As she finished up in the bathroom, there were two quick knocks on her door. She opened it without thinking, and barely saw who it was. She was pushed up against the wall as panic set in until she opened her eyes and met bright blue.

"What the hell, Charlie?" She yelled.

"You will never speak to me like that again. Got it?" he demanded. She could feel how angry he was as he slammed the door shut.

"You started it! I did nothing to you, and you were mean to me for no reason-"

"Well, you should know I'm not a nice person," he practically growled.

She looked at him angrily as her blood boiled. "I thought you were different. At least with me,"

He paused for a moment before laughing. "Hold on, did you actually think I liked you?"

She looked to the ground. "We-well, yeah,"

"How could someone like me, ever like someone like you?" He asked, getting closer to her face as he placed two fingers on her chin so that she couldn't move her face away.

"My mistake," she admitted quietly, shutting her eyes in an attempt to stop the tears building up in her eyes, from falling. Her head burned from holding the tears back. She refused to let him see her cry.

The only reason she was in her group was because of Nick and Daisy. She thought she had actually made a friend, and got someone to like her on her own. She had never been good at making friends.

Once the warmth of his body was gone, she knew he had left. Opening her eyes only confirmed it. The sick part was, she wished he hadn't left. Her heart squeezed painfully as her eyes burned. Slowly, her body sunk to the floor and finally, she let the tears fall.
