Alessia
"Morning, Daisy!" Alessia yelled at a sleeping Daisy as she busted into her room.
She yelled back and threw a pillow at her. "Screw off!"
"Come on, let's go eat I'm starving,"
Daisy looked up at Alessia, squinting her eyes. "Why are you in such a good mood?"
"I don't know, just am, come on!" She dragged her out of bed and up to the cafeteria level. Alessia spotted Elijah and the rest of the group sitting at a table. The two grabbed their food and sat down with everyone else.
Later in the day, Daisy and some other people decided to go to class, Alessia, however, wasn't feeling great, so she decided to stay in her room.
As she sat on her bed, there was a frantic knock at the door. Groaning, she got up and opened it. To her surprise, Charlie stood in front of her, his hair ruffled messily.
"Um, hi-"
He cut her off. "Have you seen Elijah?"
"Uh, no. Why?"
"None of your business, pretty," he said coldly.
She rolled her eyes. "What's your problem?"
"I don't have a problem,"
"Obviously, you do-" he cut her off by grabbing her shoulders gently and pushing her into her room, pressing her up against the wall as the door shut behind them.
"Shut up or I'll make you shut up. I'm not in the mood for you," He spoke, his voice dangerously low. She closed her eyes, she could feel his hot breath tickling her nose.
"Why are you so mean?"
He smirked. "Only to you,"
"Get off of me," she said in disgust.
"No,"
"Charlie, get off of me or I'll scream," she smirked, thinking she would get the last word. Wishful thinking.
He laughed, leaning down. "Trust me, the only time you'll be screaming around me is when I make you," he whispered before gently biting her ear.
She scrunched her nose up in disgust as she pushed his hard chest away, which didn't even budge. "You're gross!"
"And you're a prude,"
"No, I'm not," she said defensively. All he did was laugh. "I'm not!" she yelled.
He smirked. "Right. I'll see you later, pretty," He lifted himself off of the wall before opening her door and leaving.
She scoffed. "Bipolar asshole,"
Daisy
"Hey honey," Nick greeted Daisy as he walked into her room.
"Hey, what's the update on outside?" she asked.
"If you're quiet, you could hear how windy it still is. It sounds empty, so I think the 'AR' destroyed everything," Daisy simply shook her head. She didn't care about the world up there. For most, it was the worst possible thing that could have happened to them. For her, it was nothing. For her, the wind was simply the sound of her past, her demons, being washed away. It made her smile, as sickening as it was, it made her happy. Everything she ever knew, loved and hated was being destroyed above her. It was a dream for those who had demons.
Nick turned to Alessia. "How's your uh- brother?" A smile immediately popped onto both of the girl's faces as they looked to each other.
"Why do you wanna know?" Daisy teased.
He looked down. "Jus-just wondering," Daisy and Alessia laughed obnoxiously. He quickly changed the subject. "Anyway, have you heard the doctor's office has been full. Everyone's getting sick."
They stopped laughing. Daisy's face went pale. "Oh god, you don't think-"
"I don't think, I know," Nick said, knowing exactly what she was thinking.
"Well, this is bad. What are we going to do?"
Alessia sighed. "I think they're gonna tell everyone to be cautious and section the sick kids off,"
"If I get sick, I'm gonna cry," Daisy panicked.
"Or die,"
Alessia scolded him, hitting his chest. "Nick!"
