Wherever Jungkook went, people on the street would stop what they were doing and bow to him. That just what citizens did in the capital, as they thought it would protect them from the Fire Lord, just in case he decided to lash out for some reason. As much as Jungkook has told them it wasn't necessary, they continue to do it, and to be honest, Jungkook kind of liked it.

It was nice to be respected. That's how he perceived their behavior; respect. In reality, it was fear that motivated the common folk to lick his boots. It was the prince's arrogant mentality that confused respect with fear.

The prince walked down to the training grounds. Villagers, peers, and superiors alike all bowed to him and exchanged a kind greeting as he passed. This was how it was supposed to be. All members of the Fire Nation were supposed to respect him, benders and non-benders. Everyone. And up until now, everyone he met did respect him. Except for Sola.

Ever since Jungkook returned to the capital, his head was on a swivel in search for her. He didn't know why he expected her to follow him all the way here, but he did. Someone stupid enough to defy the youngest son of the Fire Lord would also be stupid enough to follow him here just to make his life a living hell.

Maybe the fact that it was the first time Jungkook had ever been disrespected was why he lost his temper so easily. Sure, people probably called him ugly names behind his back, but never directly to his face. He didn't know how to handle it, so he lashed out.

As Jungkook's mind was consumed with the thought of Sola for the umpteenth time today, his shoulder was shoved, effectively bringing him back to earth.

"What the hell?" Hisrah shouted in his face. "Did you fucking tattle on me?"

A couple of guards nearby came and held Hisrah away from Jungkook. Jungkook regained his posture, straightening out his elite Fire Nation robes. "What are you going off about?'

"Don't play stupid, prince," Hisrah snarled. "You went tattled on me to your daddy, didn't you?"

Jungkook looked at his solider with both disgust and pity on his face. Hisrah looked rabid, his hair a mess and clothes crumpled up, still trying to lunge at the prince despite the fact that three other large soldiers were restraining him. "All punishments must be reported to the Fire Lord, along with a full report of the infraction that occurred. I was simply following protocol."

"Well, you got me fucking canned," Hisrah spat, throwing a piece of parchment towards the prince. Jungkook picked it up and briefly scanned the paper, confirming that Hisrah did, in fact, get discharged from the army.

"Maybe next time you'll touch a girl that actually consents to it," Jungkook brightly smiled, sending Hisrah into another fit, lunging at the prince and shouting harsh words.

"You're one to talk, your highness," Hisrah hissed. "You went in the ally and dueled with her after that. A real chivalrous act."

"But you see, she agreed to it. There's a big difference between sexually assaulting a bar waitress and dueling a troublemaker," Jungkook calmly explained, folding Hisrah's discharge papers and sticking it into his robes.

"Yeah, how'd that duel go, prince?" Hisrah bitterly chucked, "Did you, cool down after?"

Jungkook took one large step towards Hisrah with an uneasy smirk, "You're right, I lost. I underestimated her. But Hisrah, you and I both know who the better bender is between you and me. And if I lost, I'd pay good money to watch you and her in a duel."

Hisrah's face paled, "You wouldn't."

"Wouldn't I?" Jungkook asked rhetorically. "I'd track her down and find her in a day, just to watch what she would do to you."
