Chapter 9 - Company

Another month came and left, it was now fall. You didn't go out every day, you set aside two days of the week to spend time with Dark and help him with work. You loved to walk in the leaves and had fun finding the creatures that lived in them. You and Dark walked very night it the rain didn't stop you. Today it was raining so you stayed with Dark to help him. He was reading this one request over and over. His face turned into a scowl. You looked at him in concern.

"Dark?" You asked. He looked at you, the scowl leaving his face. He sighed and put down the request.

"I'm sorry (y/n), it's just this request. He's asking to meet in person!" Dark said. You looked at him and smiled.

"Then meet him." You said. Dark sighed and leaded back in his chair.

"(y/n), he would be coming here. He's a known killer and manipulator so we will get his soul anyway, but his request is too good to pass up. I just don't want to put you in harm's way and I don't know how long this will take." Dark said. You looked down.

"I don't mind staying in my room till his gone." You said. Dark shook his head.

"I can't do that (y/n), but there is one way, a way you can have your freedom still and make this request work." Dark said. You looked confused. Dark sighed and held his hand out in front of him, a cell phone appeared. He turned in to and dialed a number. You sat there, unsure if you should leave or not.

"Hey Anti...yes I know it's been a while...no this call isn't to go out tonight to kill, I have a favor to ask...yes it's about a client but not for a client...no...no...Anti I need to you watch someone for me...no...no...Anti for the last time, no you cannot kill them...yes...yes...thank you, I will see you tonight." Dark said and hung up. You couldn't hear what this Anti person was saying so you only knew what Dark said. The phone vanished, and he looked at you.

"My friend, Anti, agreed to watch you while my client, Jack, is here." He said. You groaned.

"A babysitter, really? Come on Dark, I can last a few days in my room." You said. Dark just chuckled.

"I know, I know, but it's just for a bit I promise. Do this for me and I will do something for you." He said. You looked at him.

"Something for me? What? You gave me the outside." You said. Dark smiled.

"You will see. Go out to the living room. I must call the client and will be out shortly but if you hear a knock, it's just Anti and you can let him in. Be warned though, he's a computer virus so he glitches and had a slit throat, but he's fine." Dark said. You shivered a bit but nodded, walking out and sat on the window seat, watching the rain. You wished you could go out but Dark said no, as he didn't want you to get sick. You felt Dark touch your shoulder, but he then sat with you.

"So, my client will be here shortly, as will Anti. If my client tries to talk to you, say nothing, Myself or Anti will. Please understand that this man won't hesitate to harm you." Dark said. You smiled and nodded.

"I understand, and I won't. What do I do with Anti though?" You asked. Dark smiled.

"He loves games so don't worry." Dark said. You both heard a knock at the door and Dark walked over, opening the door.

"Ah, Anti." Dark said, and you stood, walking over.

"Hello Dark, oh this must be the girl, am I right?" The man named Anti asked. His voice was a deep Irish but it also glitched like him. Dark nodded.

"Yes, please keep her safe. OH, and here is Jack, my client, welcome." Dark said. a Man then walked in. He was a tall man with dirty blond hair and blue eyes. He looked at you.

"Oh, I didn't know you had company. I'm jack, what your name?" Jack asked. You said nothing but Anti step in.

"Go talk business as she isn't a part of it. I'm here to watch her." Anti said. Jack scowled but nodded.

"Come, my study is here." Dark said, and Jack followed. Dark shut the door and you looked at Anti.

"Umm, I'm (y/n) it's nice to meet you." You said. Anti looked you up and down and it made you feel weird.

"Well, I'm bored, let's play a game." Anti said, glitching to the tv, turning it on and putting a game it, then sat. You sighed. He wasn't like Dark but you sat and watched him play a game. A few hours pasted and you wanted to move but didn't. you then felt Anti put his hand on your knee. You slapped his hand away.

"Please don't touch me." You said. Anti looked mad.

"I'm meant to watch you and I can't even have fun with you? I bet Dark fucks you everyday." He said. You moved away from him, not liking how he was talking but he then grabbed you, coving your mouth before you could scream.

"Don't you fucking move from me. I just want to touch you. I want to know why Dark like you." He said and moved his hand to your breast. You started to cry as he squeezed it but then glitched and moved away, continuing to play the game. You stood up and was going to punch him when the study door opened. Jack walked out, followed by Dark.

"We will talk more tomorrow, Have a good night." Dark said. Jack nodded and left. You ran to Dark.

"Dark, Anti...""I beat her in this game. It was really funny, to day you missed it." Anti said, interrupting you. He then moved and game you a hug.

"Don't be such a sour loser...you tell him anything and I will slit your throat." Anti said but whispered the last part. You froze but nodded. He then let you go.

"I hope to play it again, maybe you will be good enough to beat me." Anti said and laughed. It brought shivers to you. Dark smiled.

"I need you to watch her tomorrow, we couldn't settle on an agreement. Would that be ok?" Dark asked. Anti cheered.

"Hell yes, see you tomorrow then, (y/n) you better practice if you want to beat me!" Anti said, glitching as he left.

You feared for tomorrow more than any other day in your life.
