Give Me A Library With No Books. It's Very Effective In Training.

Clap. Clap. Clap.

       Shadow put on a sunny smile and clapped for me. Some people looked at me in awe, some in jealousy and some in horror. He took out a voucher looking thing and handed it to me." Here, you'll need it." I  pulled it out of his hand. It was black with a platinum ' A' on the front. In the corner, there was a diamond shaped stamp.

      "What is this?" I frown

     "Keep it safe. You'll need it." He repeated.

       Totally bewildered and frustrated, I tucked it in the inner side of my jacket, which had a secrete pocket in front of where my heart would be.

        As I walked back to where my place was in the line, Mia cast over a dirty look. I just smirked.

        One by one, the other people from the line walked up to the arena where a dozen people were waiting already. There were around twenty of us, I noticed. There were only, including me, ten people in our dorm. Which means that we have joined together with another dorm for this session. I sat down where I was and tried to get my strength back quickly. As far as i know, there should be more to today than just this place. It had seemed easy, beating those three, but it had actually got a lot out of me. Nearly drained. After all, dislocating the bigger joints required not only technique, but also power. Especially if the attended was about ten years older than you.

        It didn't take long for it all to end. The older people are all harmed to some degree and had been carried off. Panther and Fox had a voucher with a grey 'B' on it, Giza a red 'C', and pretty much everyone else had a plain  looking 'I'. Cold and another cute-looking girl also had a platinum'A', I noticed. I hadn't taken much of a notice to the girl when we were in our dorms but now I remember that she was in our dorm as well. She had her long light brown hair tied up to a high pony tail, her hairband had a cartoon cat sticker on it. Her side fringe was pinned to her head with a pink hair clip.

       I watched her move to the benches at the side and picked up a pair of glasses that had rims the same colour of her hair. " She was good." Said a voice beside me. I jumped. It was Cold and Panther, they came over unnoticed. "Wha-" I blinked.

      " She was good." Agreed Panther. I was so surprised that she actually agreed with Cold that I completely ignored what they said. " She could see what movement her opponent was going to do next." Added Panther.

        " And she was swift. Though I don't think she's very skilled in any of the common martial arts. Just tricks that she probably copied off someone before her." Cold commented." But with the ability that she has? I can just imagine what she would be like if she had actually learnt any of the arts."

         "IF."  I reminded her. " And we are not going to go to any clubs or sport centers whilst we are here, are we?" She nodded glumly, as if she was sorry to have an opponent who cannot be at her full strength. I glanced at the girl one more time but quickly looked the other way as she was glaring in our direction. It happens, that she had heard our entire conversation. I felt my ears flush as I could feel her gaze. Oh for flipping hell's sake, why is she still staring at me? Her gaze was like a hot spot on my back, and I was very uncomfortable, talking behind her back and all, so I just pointedly started a conversation with Cold. I didn't even know what I was talking about. To my relief, Shadow got up and started leading the way out. I completely relaxed when I couldn't feel the gaze anymore.

      After what seemed like ages, twisting and turning in the long corridors of this place, we reached an unnoticeable single black door. It opened up to a small and yet seemingly comfy bedroom. It had velvet carpet, a dimly lit light. The pink bed was in the corner and there was a wardrobe and a bedside table with a lamp that had a really nice lampshade with these drippy things on the edge. There were a lot of cushions piled up in one corner of the room and a couple of beanbag chair things in the other. The bed wasn't at any corner, it was in the middle of a side of a wall and had the wardrobe and the bedside table either side of it.

              " This, is another part of the DT room." A voice interrupted us as we were taking in the scene. Or at least some of us; Mia seemed too attracted to her nails and now Shadow to be taking in anything. " The library."

                 For a moment we all stood and looked at him, each with an expression that clearly read ' WTF? Are you kidding me?' That is, except Mia, who was obviously too busy pouring over Shadow t be noticing anything that he had said. This room hasn't got a single trace of a book, or even paper, in it. " As in, library library? The one with books in?" The cute-looking girl broke the awkward silence by asking the exact question that we all wanted to ask, just to make sure our hearing was correct and that Shadow hasn't gone insane. Though I recon it is pretty easy to lose it in this place. He chuckled." Why yes, the library library. What else did you think I meant? A weapon storage? Though we do have that here..." His voice trailed off.

           " But, but there isn't a single book in here." Another girl with several bruised on her face gestured wildly around her. He just laughed darkly." Oh you'll learn. You are free to come here at any point of your free time. It's good for your training, so if you want to be ahead of the gang, these doors are open any time." And with those words, he lead us out of the room.

         " Jerk." I whispered to Cold, who nodded in agreement. Hearing this, Mia cast over a glare for both of us and continued daydreaming. " Oh, Shadow, such a dark name for a sunny guy like him, he's sooooo cute!"

        I exchanged a dark look with Cold and simultaneously looked down and shook our heads. " I don't like that guy." Cold said." He gives me the creeps. And even if he smiles that much, oh his smiles, just eugh." I nodded in agreement. I was about to make a comment when something caught my attention- Panther was looking, no, staring at a certain point in the room. I know that she could be just randomly looking at something or another, but the peculiar thing was that the cute girl with the cat sticker hair-band was also staring at that place, which really  bothered me. They were no where near each other, so there is only one possibility: There were something more to this room , to this place, than what it seems.

                                                                                     ~~~~~
