(sorry guys this story has been coming out slow, I just moved into a new house and I've been without wifi for the last few months but I got wifi now (thank god) so expect updates at least twice a month since these chapters are going to be super long, so sit tight and enjoy ^_^)
their base wasn't half bad, I had seen many bases playing Rust with my dad and they always had a weak point. In this update, the fences have weak points.
A part that wasn't placed correctly that allows you to glitch through.
Judging by the looks of these people, they're the typical geeks with not much education on the game.
But, they may have a hacker with them. Someone who can break the game down and find the smallest of loop holes to make the game "simpler".
Dad and I have dealt with them before playing together, but they too have their weak points.
Let's just say people who play Rust aren't exactly... the most intelligent.
"Buddy, feel the fence and feel for a glitch!" I yell over the gunfire running my hand across the fence quickly as we ran. We had to hurry, soon the gunfire would've stopped and hopefully both James and Dad are okay.
"Princess, here!" he stopped in front of a slightly misplaced fence, he stuck his hand through the wood showing that it was infact gliched.
"alright, try to go through"
he stepped in carefully until I finally shoved him through then followed.
We came in behind their wooden building, they had a small camp fire sitting next to a back door.
I motioned towards the door cocking my pistol, buddy shook the door showing that it was locked
shit
"combo?" I asked
"combo" he confirmed "and from the looks of the data base it's heavily protected"
"shit" I muttered "thiers gotta be another way-"
suddenly the door creaks open, Buddy stands defensively in front of me as a familiar blonde stumbles out
"holy shit felix!" I quickly push past Buddy helping pewds up, I have to keep myself from crying as I quickly examined his face. He's beat up pretty bad, his once smiling face that greeted me when I last saw him is now covered in blood and dirt. his left eye is swollen shut, cuts cover every visible inch of him. he's in a formal blue suit that I remember him constantly wearing when I was young.
"are you going to be okay?"
he nodded "am I... still fabulous?" he croaked
I laughed through tears "yeah, fabulous as ever"
"alright, we have to go princess" he helped Felix up throwing his arm around him, I covered them as Buddy helped Felix through the glitched fence.
"Eleanor!" Mark yelled "everythings clear"
"we're over here dad!" I yelled as Buddy and Felix followed me to the front of the base
Dad stood in the middle of the base next to a fire, Nova stands next to him smiling as his eyes meet mine.
I must look horrific, Felix's blood is all over my armor and I've accidently wiped some on my face. But, Nova just drops his weapon and runs up to me pulling me in for a hug.
I don't fight it, I watch as Buddy helps fix up Felix. Dad searches the base but Marzia is nowhere to be found.
I let go of Nova, looking at Felix "Felix...w-where is Marzia?"
"he's asleep princess, I gave him a tonic for the pain, we now can only wait and see"
"is he going to be okay?"
"I believe so, that tonic is one of Lord Cryaotic's brewing he gave to me. It was only to be used in an emergency..." he turned to look at me "and I'd say this is an extreme emergency"
"she's not here" Mark says running out of the base
"dammit Felix!" I lounge forward at Felix but Nova stops me, I start sobbing "dammit..."I fall to my knees, Nova still holding me in this arms from behind.
She can't be dead, not Marzia. out of everyone that it could've been, why her? who could ever hurt Marzia? the most innoncent and kind person I know. she used to make me smile and dress me up when was little, she'd come over and we'd have tea parties and dress up like princesses and we'd eat cookies and tea she made. When I lost my memories, I saw her as my mother figure.
"princess..." Buddy smiles through tears "I swear, when I find your mother I'm giving her the biggest hug" dangling from his hand he holds up a necklace glowing purple
"that son of a bitch!" Mark chimes "did he really do it?!"
"yes" Buddy nods "he sent Mariza back to Victubia"
I smile laughing lightly "oh my God, you smart little prick!" I run to Felix hugging him lightly
"alright, let's get him to Bob then it looks like we're heading to Outlast"I nod "yeah, let's go get my mom"
(sorry this chapter is kind of short, I had an entire chapter written but my damn laptop didnt save it all so I attempted to rewrite it as best as I could! hope you guys like it!)
