3rd Person POV

The bells.

The suits.

The people.

Yoongi hated it all.

He was used to small, quiet, confined areas. He didn't enjoy going out much and he especially did not want to be at his mother's wedding. Yoongi was actually quite good at reading people and the groom gave him bad vibes. Well, not in the way that he seemed malicious, but he just had that feeling that the man was bad news.

And he was right.

The guy was bad news.

He's a mafia leader, after all.

But of course, Yoongi doesn't need to know that.

As he entered the church room and found his seat, he found that a young boy was also slumped in the row. The boy was maybe of 18 years and didn't seem as if he wanted to be present, either. Noting that the boy was sitting in a row reserved for relatives of the to-be-weds, Yoongi quickly figured that the boy was the son of the groom.

Sitting on the edge of the aisle, Yoongi fixed his gaze on the pedestal. No one currently stood there as the wedding was scheduled to start in three hours. The to-be-weds were to arrive early and both had no one to bring their children later on, so both Yoongi and the groom's son were forced to come with.

Having spaced out for a moment, Yoongi didn't notice someone had shifted to sit by his side until he felt an annoying poke in his cheek. Harshly turning to scold the person disrupting him, Yoongi's jaw hung open as if he no longer had a voice as he saw that the boy he had previously saw was sitting two inches before him.

The boy's face quickly flushed a deep red and he scrambled away from the awkward position. Closing his mouth and wiping all emotion from his face, Yoongi's emotionless mask quickly made its way back.

The two just sat there, frozen with shock, and examined each other. The boy across from Yoongi had clearly dyed his hair a dark brown as his black roots were showing. Yoongi, who constantly dyes his hair, greatly disapproved of it, his OCD getting the best of him and he internally discriminated the boy's terrible hair job. The boy also had a small, round nose, high cheekbones, wide eyes and bunny teeth. Actually, his entire face resembled a bunny. He was wearing a suit, as was Yoongi, as they were at a wedding. The boy didn't seem to be the type to regularly wear a suit, though. He seemed as if he would be more comfortable wearing sweats and a jersey. Your typical high school teenager.

"Who are you?" asked Yoongi. He obviously knew who he was; he was his soon-to-be step-brother. He was asking for his name.

"J-jungkook, Jeon Jungkook," replied the boy, now named Jungkook, as he came out of his reverie. The moment Jungkook had same the elder sit at the edge of the aisle, he was mesmerized by the man's apparent beauty and the cool, yet mysterious vibe that he radiated.

Yoongi merely hummed in response and looked away, gathering his composure. This was not a very good way to make a first impression.

An uncomfortable silence engulfed the two, as no one else was present in the church hall.

Jungkook coughed.

"A-and you are?"

"Yoongi."

"Nice to meet you, Yoongi. I guess you're my to-be step-brother, huh?"

No response.

"Okay, good talk."
