Yoongi's POV
"Do you, Jeon Seewoo, take Min Gyuri as you're lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"And do you, Min Gyuri, take Jeon Seewoo as you're lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do."
"I now present you as husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Cheers.
Cheers.
More cheers.
"Oh my god, can they please lower their voices?" I mumbled, my eardrums nearly bursting from the volume of everyone's cheers as Jungkook's father kissed Mother.
I heard a soft chuckle from next to me.
"Well you know, that's just how weddings are. Extremely boring and extremely loud," said Jungkook. I wouldn't know. Mother has never been able to drag me to a wedding before.
"And you know this how?" Jungkook shrugged.
"Well, with the kind of job my dad has, you've kinda gotta go to a few weddings and funerals out of respect." I narrowed my eyes at him as the cheers subsided. I proceeded to nurture my ears that felt like they were bleeding.
"What, is your father a match-maker or a wedding planner or something?" A laugh.
"No, but wouldn't you like to know what he does?"
"No, I don't particularly care." Another laugh.
"Well then, now that the ceremony is over, you wanna stick around for the after-party or do you just wanna ditch?" asked Jungkook, motioning behind him with his thumb. Yoongi scoffed.
"This may be my mother's wedding, but I'd rather not be here. Let's ditch." Jungkook smirked.
"Great. I have some clothes in my car. You got any to change into?" I shook my head while Jungkook pondered for a moment.
"My figure is larger than yours so my clothes should fit you. I brought a few pairs of clothing just in case. You want my clothes or are you going to stick with the suit?" I would really rather not stay in my suit, but I also didn't want to have to ask Jungkook for his clothes. Jungkook, seeming to notice my dilemma, grinned.
"I'm going to give you my clothes. You seem like a rapper... yeah, I think I can get together an outfit for you that'll suit your taste. Follow me." Grumbling slightly about how Jungkook could easily observe my preferences, I followed as he lead the way.
As we approached Jungkook's car, we encountered a man with broad shoulders wearing a suit and a visor. He seemed to be standing guard by the car. Jungkook seemed to know him.
"Jin-hyung, this is Yoongi. He's my step-brother as of five minutes ago." The man – Jin – removed his visor (it was quite late into the night. He was probably just trying to get a proper look at me) and smiled. Jin was actually quite, well, how do I say this? He was more beautiful than handsome.
"Hello, Yoongi! I'm Kim Seokjin. I'm twenty-two years old."
"Funny. I'm also twenty-two."
"Ooh, Jin-hyung, you've got competition." Jin scoffed.
"December 1992."
"March 1993."
"Hah! You can call me Jin-hyung, or Worldwide Handsome. Either is fine." It was my turn to scoff.
"I'll call you whatever you want. Now, Seokjin-ssi, I've got some business to attend to with my dear brother Jungkook here. So if you would kindly move out of the way, that would be very much appreciated," I finished, sending him a (these aren't my terms, they're Jimin-ah's) level 2 glare. Even though he clearly tried to hide it, I could see that even one of my lower tiered glares had unnerved him.
Perks of having perfected the art of glaring.
Nevertheless, though, Jin-hyung (never going to call him that out-loud) moved out of the way and opened the car door. Jungkook reached inside and pulled out a small duffel bag.
"Come with me, Yoongi-hyung." I nodded and followed as Jungkook led the way to the church restrooms.
Once there, Jungkook rummaged through the bag, occasionally pulling out a few articles of clothing. After about two minutes, he seemed satisfied and gave me the outfit. Looking at it, I was genuinely surprised as the outfit he chose for me perfectly suited my taste.
Hanging out with Jungkook might not turn out as badly as I thought it would.
