"Oh, hey, Tae," says Hoseok as he glances up from the clipboard he's holding. "What's u-" Hoseok stops dead in his tracks as he does a double take. He'd just walked into Seewoo's office to give him an update on a virus Buleugi had been working on when he saw Taehyung leaning over Seokjin and Seewoo's bodies.
"What the..." Taehyung spins around and holds his hands up in a surrender position, the bat in his hands dropping to the floor.
"Hoseok-hyung, I swear to God, it's not what it looks like." Hoseok ignores him and pushes Taehyung away to get a better look at the two bodies on the desk. He carefully rolls over Seokjin so that he lays next to Seewoo on his back, rather than on top of him. Seokjin lets out a small groan, letting Hoseok know he's alive. He turns to Seewoo, immediately noticing the knife sticking out of his chest. Hoseok rests two fingers on Seewoo's neck, feeling for a pulse. When he doesn't identify one, he tries again on his wrist.
Nothing.
Hoseok pulls away and sighs, rubbing his forehead in frustration.
"Tae."
"Yes, hyung?"
"Carry Jin-hyung to my lab. Set him down on the table and wait for me." Taehyung's eyes widen in surprise.
"Wait, you don't think I did it?"
"You were holding a bat, idiot." Hoseok turns to face Taehyung before pointing at Seewoo. "There's a knife Sir Jeon's chest and Jin-hyung's position when I walked in further proves you're not guilty." He stalks over to the phone on Seewoo's desk, dialing a number. When the line connects, Soorah, Hoseok's medical assistant, picks up the phone.
"Sir?" she answers.
"This is Hoseok. Sir Jeon is dead. I need a medical team in Sir Jeon's office as soon as possible."
"W-what? Sir Jeon's dead?"
"Yes, and we have a suspect. I need you to send a medical team. Now."
"Y-yes, sir," she squeaks from the tone of Hoseok's voice, hanging up before anyone can speak another word. Hoseok turns to face Taehyung again, his frustration deepening when he realizes he's still there.
"Well? I thought I told you to bring Jin-hyung to my office?" Taehyung jumps out of his daze and nods furiously, rushing to heft Seokjin over his shoulder, practically legging it out of the room.
Namjoon's the next one to stumble upon the mess.
"Sir? I heard-" he stops, just as Hoseok had, surveying the scene, mouth hanging agape.
"Oh my god." Hoseok sighs again in frustration.
"Tell me about it." Namjoon shakes his head.
"You know what this means, right?"
"Yeah. Jungkook's out of commission, though." Namjoon nods thoughtfully.
"We need to find Yoongi."

Yoongi barely looks up from his phone as the bell on the café door rings.
"Welcome to Viva Polo (yes, I know that's Chanyeol's mother's restaurant), what can I get for you today?" he says, boredom lacing his tone.
"I'll have an extra-large dose of 'Yoongi-Hyung, Don't Be an Asshole,' please." Yoongi sighs and sets his phone down as he looks up to face Namjoon. It's just past noon on a Wednesday so the café is practically empty. There's no line for Namjoon to hold up so the two can talk for a little while.
"What do you want, Namjoon? Come to grab my ass for the Hongdaeng thing?" Namjoon sets his palms on the counter and sighs, looking down at his feet.
"No, actually." He looks up, meeting Yoongi's expectant gaze. Yoongi leans back to rest on the wall behind him, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow as if to say, well? Namjoon sighs again, his gaze unwavering.
"Sir Jeon's dead." Yoongi looks unimpressed with the information.
"And? What's that have to do with me? Jungkook's of legal age. He's the rightful heir." Namjoon groans in slight frustration, massaging his temple with his fingers, much like Hoseok did earlier.
"That's the thing..." Yoongi's gaze hardens and he drops his arms as he stalks forward. He sets his palms down on the counter, mirroring Namjoon's current position.
"What happened?" he speaks, his tone dangerous.
"On our way to investigate the Hongdaeng... thing, Jungkook and I were attacked." Yoongi's eyebrows furrow.
"Attacked? What do you mean?"
"I mean, Jackson Wang rammed a car into ours, rendering the both of us unconscious, before stabbing and wounding Jungkook." Yoongi's eyes darken.
"How badly is he hurt?" Namjoon shifts his gaze back to the floor.
"Three broken ribs, fractured thigh. Stab wound, but nothing pierced. Severe concussion from the impact force and... other damage done by Jackson."
"There's more you're not telling me." Namjoon struggles with his words.
"He... he's in a coma. They don't know when he'll wake up, if he'll wake up." He looks up and meets Yoongi's gaze once more.
"You're needed as heir, Yoongi."
