Jungkook's POV
"Jungkook-ah, wake up. Dinner's going to be served in a few minutes." I groaned as someone shook me awake. I blinked away the faint memories that played in my dream and looked around at my surroundings.
This isn't the car.
"Namjoon-hyung? Why are we here? What happened to going to Yoongi-hyung's apartment? Oh no, Kai's going to leave him there, hyung we need to go back to-" I stammered out, rising from my spot on my bed.
"Jungkook-ah, calm down. We already went to Yoongi-hyung's place. He's in the med bay with Hoseok. Don't worry, he's safe. We got there before Kai did. Knowing how much sleep you've been getting lately, we let you be." I blinked and fell back onto my bed in a daze.
"Oh." Namjoon-hyung just smiled at me, rose from his spot next to me and patted my back.
"Alright, Jungkook-ah. Dinner's being served in a few. Wash up and come down. You can see go Yoongi-hyung and bring him some food after." I nod dumbly as Namjoon-hyung makes his way out of my room.
I flop back onto my bed with a long groan.
Fucki-

"-ng hell."
"Um, excuse you, mister, but I do not, let me repeat, do not, permit such language in this area," says a white clad Hoseok with a sigh.
Yoongi, in turn, lets out a sigh as well, unsure, really of where he is, considering he had just awoken from a fitful sleep.
"Where the fuck am I? No, wait, who the fuck are you?" he asks, propping himself up on his elbows.
"Again, I don't allow such language here. As for where you are and who I am, you're at the Jeon family mansion. I'm Hoseok. Jung Hoseok." Yoongi faintly remembers the name – until it hits him.
"Oh. You're that bastard that was supposed to show me around two weeks ago, right?" Hoseok's brows furrow together.
"What? Uh, sure?" Yoongi nods.
"M'kay then, Hobi. When the fuck can I get out of this place?" Yoongi asks as he flops back down onto the small bed he had been placed upon. Hoseok sighs once again, having learned by now that the slightly older male laying before him holds no filter when it comes to his words. Hoseok doesn't hold anything against curses; he frequents them all the time. It's just, the med bay is a place of life and death. He doesn't want anyone to be disturbed by some bastard that isn't able to learn to abide by some simple rules.
"I ask that you remain here for at least the next two days to recover from your injuries. Here, of course, refers to the med bay. If you are asking when you may leave the mansion, I'm afraid that that is a topic you will have to converse over with Jungkook." Yoongi lets out a low groan.
"Just. Fuck-

-ing. Great." Jungkook lifted his gaze from his very appetizing dinner to rest on his hyung.
"What's up, hyung?" Namjoon simply lets out a soft sigh as he leans back in his seat.
"It's just this novel I'm reading right now." Jungkook lets out a small giggle; Namjoon always gets worked up over the books he reads – especially if they're fiction.
"What happened?"
"So, there's this one guy that's trying to get to this, like camp or something with his best friend and mother when they suddenly get attacked by this monster from some ancient mythology. The guy and his friend get to the camp safely but his mother 'dies,'" says Namjoon, fingers in little quotation markings to emphasize the word "dies." (Props to whoever can guess which novel this is and by who) Jungkook lets out a small laugh at Namjoon's dedication to the novels he reads.
"Hyung, it's just a book. There's no need to get so worked up about it." Namjoon lets out a huff, flops back onto his seat from his previously hunched over position, and runs a hand through his hair.
"I know, I know. It's just... aish, how do I explain this, Jungkook-ah? Taehyung-ah, help me out. You're good with words." At the sound of his name, Taehyung's ears perk, his head shoots up to look around the room, eyes-wide in curiosity.
"Oh! What hyung's trying to say is that basically, he has a soft heart and can't bear to read these kind of dramatic situations."
"Yah, you brat!"
"You didn't deny it, hyung!"
"..."
"Hah, so it's true, isn't it?"
"..."
"Hyung?"
"Motherfucker."
At that moment, Hoseok walks into the room. When he hears the curse leave Namjoon's lips, he bursts into laughter. When his laughter dies down, he begins to scream in a high-pitched voice and runs around the dining room Naruto-style.
Then, Jungkook's father and new stepmother step into the room, their conversation halting once they see the overly excited embodiment of sunshine.
Hoseok, yet to notice the couple enter, continues with his actions.
It isn't until Seewoo speaks that Hoseok calms down.
"Jung-fucking-Hoseok, sit your ass down this instant."
Hoseok turns to look at Seewoo, distracted, but ends up tripping over a rug on the floor, letting out a very manly scream as he falls face-first into the rug's coarse fibers.
Seewoo sighs, Namjoon face-palms, Jin laughs, Taehyung continues eating, and Jungkook smiles.
This, this right here, this was his family. The family that he loved and cared about. He would sacrifice anything and everything to ensure their safety.
Including his life.
Just as Yeongsoo did.
