"Dear," the word kept running through my brain as I straightened my black curly hair. I tugged on a red dress that hugged my petite frame as I twirled admiring myself in the mirror. Tonight there was a huge party that I decided I was going to it had been a rough week and Naomi was nagging me to go. I heard Julian yell to me that Naomi was here so I rushed down the creaky wooden steps and out my door. I sat in Naomi's car which was blasting a song I had never heard. We drove into the rich part of town into the city the lights blurring into one. The smell of weed hit me as soon as we pulled into a huge house all the windows lit up I could already see people jumping around and couples clinging to each other. I planned on getting messed up.
Me and Naomi walked through the doors my chin was held high and I felt good, we went straight to the kitchen pouring ourselves a drink and my eyes scanned the crowded room looking for a familiar face and not finding one. I sighed as Naomi left walking out the backdoor to find a small circle of people passing what looked like a blunt. They beckoned me over and asked if I wanted to smoke it was dark and I couldn't make out faces. "sure," I mumbled quietly taking a seat. They handed me the blunt which I took happily taking a hit the smoke filled my lungs causing me to let out a small cough as I exhaled. After a few hits I was feeling it everything was dragging and I felt heavy I started giggling at something someone said, then my laughter was uncontrollable taking over my whole body. I felt a big hand on my back and someone pulling me to my feet. "No," I whined.
"Come on Lily," said a familiar soft voice in my ear his strong hands running up and down my back. Timothee took me into a small bedroom and flicked the light on and handed me a small cup of water. I looked into his eyes which were extra green and ringed with red from the drug. "Your such a lightweight," he giggled plopping down next to me.
"Maybe I want to be high." I turned to pout at him my eyes analyzing his sharp features, I never wanted to look away. He was staring at me too before turning his head away and started to stand. "Please don't leave," my voice was barely a whisper, his gaze softened as he looked at me.
"You're so beautiful." he gasped out. I pulled him down to my level I ran my hand through his curly hair his pupils were dilated as he made eye contact with me.
"So are you," I whispered pulling his face to me locking his soft lips to mine, his hands went immediately to my hair pulling it lightly causing me to gasp a little opening my mouth slightly allowing his tongue to enter his tongue battling with mine. I leaned back onto the huge comforter pulling him onto me and running my hands up his loose shirt and along his toned back. He kissed me passionately and held me close to his body I wrapped my leg around him pulling him so close I could smell his cologne he smelled dark like a forest at midnight, I never wanted this feeling to end it felt like I was on fire, like a million stars exploding at once like nothing could hurt me, I was safe. I pulled him closer to me and the kiss turned rougher. And then suddenly it stopped and everything was frained out of me, he pulled away his lips swollen and hair messy casting shadows on his face.
"We can't do this you're high it's not right," he ran his hand through his hair in distress, "your not thinking straight."
"Yes Timothee I am please kiss me," I said in almost a beg reaching out for him craving his touch.
"Lily you're going to regret this tomorrow I'm doing you a favor." He told me his eyes slightly glossy before turning and walking out closing the door softly.
