hey guys! oh my goodness i know that i haven't posted in like a billion years and i'm really sorry about that >_< i've been focusing more so on my other story My Day Over a Matcha Latte so if you haven't read that yet, please do (・ωー)~☆ i'd really appreciate it. well, back to the story for now! <3 peachy

"I can't do this! I just can't!" I paced frantically in an elegant room. My lacy dress clung tight to my body, the white fabric train tailing me while I waved my arms around frantically. My best friend, the sexy hero Midnight, watched me with slight annoyance.

"Y/n! Stop moving around so much! You'll dirty the dress..." She came up to fix a part of my hair, making sure that all the details were perfect for my big day.

Because today was the day that I would get married to the man of my dreams; Aizawa Shota. I should be excited, which I definitely was! But... I was also in a state of panic. What if something went wrong?! What if a villain came and ruined the whole reception?! What if I tripped and made a fool of myself?!

"Nemuri-chan, please help me..." I wrung my hands nervously as she checked her gorgeous reflection. A genuine smile spread across her full lips, something that didn't happen often. Nemuri reached out and grabbed my hands forcing us to maintain eye contact.

"Okay, Y/n, just take deep breaths. In..." We both sucked in copious amounts of air, squeezing one another's palms. "Out..." At Nemuri's signal, we let out the air with a sigh. "Don't worry Y/n... You look beautiful and your about to stand in front of the love of your life. You two are about to start a whole new life together. Isn't that what you want?"

"Without a doubt! I love him with all my heart." I didn't hesitate for even a moment at her question. I loved Shota and nothing could change that. Nemuri was right; today was going to be amazing even if I did trip over my dress along the way.

I heard music began to play from outside, where the reception was being held. "Well, that's your cue." Nemuri nodded her head toward the door. "We don't want to keep the groom waiting, now do we?"

I shook my head, my mouth too dry to speak. I grabbed my bouquet filled with white roses and followed my best friend outside.

Rows and rows of chairs had been set up, everything systematic and rational. A long pathway covered in flower petals lead the way to the alter, where I could see Shota standing, nervously tapping his fingers against his thighs.

Pale pink cherry blossom petals floated down, gracing my cheeks and hair, making this moment even more magical than it already was. I saw our friends and even Shota's students, watching us excitedly. Some of them were crying, others bursting at the seams with anticipation.

Shota looked over, catching my eye. His fidgeting instantly stopped, a love struck smile playing on his lips. I savored each step that I took down the aisle, trying not to walk too fast even though I wanted to run into his arms.

The music stopped when I reached the alter and I took a deep breath. Both Nemuri and Hizashi served the role of the officiator despite Nemuri being my bridesmaid and Hizashi as Shota's best man. Our friends took turn speaking the all important words, being the vows.

"Do you, Aizawa Shota, take Y/n to be your wife, through everything, no matter the circumstances? Do you promise to protect her when needed and give her strength in where she lacks? Do you promise to love her unconditionally as her infinite partner in life?" Hizashi looked at his best friend, discarding his usual flair to recite the vows respectfully.

Shota didn't break our gaze for a second. "I do." His voice was clear and loud, announcing to the entire room his devotion. I felt myself smile subconsciously, relishing in my own ecstasy.

"And do you, Y/n, take Aizawa Shota to be your husband through everything, no matter the circumstances? Do you promise to protect him when needed and give him strength in where she lacks? Do you promise to love him unconditionally as him infinite partner in life?" Tears bubbled in my eyes as Nemuri recited the identical vows.

"I do!" I managed to speak clearly despite the tears running down my face.

"We now pronounce you husband and wife!" Nemuri and Hizashi joyfully cried out in unison. "You may kiss the bride!" Hizashi motioned toward us, Shota and I wasting no time.

His lips pressed against mine, the warmth of them so blissful. I melted away in his arms, forcing all my love to be given in that kiss. I forced it to get a little deeper, enjoying ever second before we were forced to let go.

Even after we had separated, our lips lingered near each other for a moment of two. I could still feel them tingle slightly with elation. I felt Shota take my hand, slipping something cold onto my finger. "I love you, Y/n." he said tenderly, pushing the wedding ring down until it was secure.

I followed in suit, not able to prevent my tears. "I love you too, Shota..."

People cheered and clapped, but I couldn't hear them. I couldn't see them, I barely even knew that they were there anymore. They didn't matter right now.

All I could see was my husband; my perfect husband who had shaved and gotten in a suit with his hair done nicely even though he hated it that way.

The man who fought for justice and put on a tough face, even though he was really a sweetheart.

The man I loved.

The man who loved me.

The sound of bells brought me back to reality, but it still felt like a dream. We held hands, his rare smile saying everything that needed to be said.

So I smiled back, knowing that he would understand. The message between us was simple after all.

I love you
