the carnival

The limbo stoped at their location,then brad got out the car and opened the door for Lena and Kara, they got out and said their goibues to brad,he nodded then got back in the drivers seat and drive off

Kara and Lena was standing outside at the entrance to their date it wasn't chilly at all it was kinda humid outside but it's still alright for their date

Kara gasped "Lena is this..."

Lena giggled "Yes darling ,this is a carnival ,I was thinking about coming here because I don't really get out much and I figured I could experience this carnival with you "

Kara smiled and then wrapped Lena in a tight hug (not to tight though)
This caught Lena off guard for a second but she regain herself and hugged Kara back just as tightly as Kara hugged her

Kara pulled away and looked at lena in her eyes blushing a little bit

"Thank you Lena I love it"

"No problem kar,now what ride should we do first" Lena winked at Kara which made her blush more

They went into the carnival and payed for their tickets to get in which Kara insisted she pay for them but Lena being the stubborn business lady she is fully played for everything but Kara told her for they're next date that she will pay for them

Lena blushed at what Kara said "next date?" She questioned

Kara blushed a bit "Oh um yeah I mean if you want there to be another one I don't really mind a second date"

Lena giggled at Kara rambling and Kara looked away emmbarssed for rambling

After Lena stoped giggling she went up to Kara, got on her tipy toes since Kara was a little taller than her  and kissed Kara cheek

"I would love for it to be another date with you Kara and hopefully many more to come in the future " Lena started to walk ahead of Kara a bit
Kara stood there in a trance ,she lifted her hand to trace where Lena kissed her cheek ,Lena kiss still lingering on her cheek

"Kara you coming!" Lena asked

"Oh um yeah coming " Kara sped walk to Lena and grabbed Lena hand in hers and blushed a little

Lena giggled a little and walked with Kara to the rides

*later on that night*

Kara and Lena was finishing up their date ,they got on bunch of rides ,had a lot of food well Kara did and Kara even got Lena a giant teddy bear that had her family's symbal on it "the house of el" otherwise known as the supergirl suit people see on her everyday when she is fighting aliens or stopping robberies ya know hero stuff

They were walking around hand in hand

Kara took lena's right hand since she had her teddy bear that Kara won her in her left hand

Kara stoped suddenly making Lena stop as well

"Kara what is it " Lena asked looking at Kara who had a wide smile on her

"Lena let's go on the Ferris wheel to end our night" Kara pointed to the huge Ferris wheel so Lena knew where she was talking about

"If you want then I'm fine with it" Kara squealed a happy squealed and hugged Lena, she let her go and took Lena hand and dragging her to the Ferris wheel ,it took some time for their turn to go but they got on after the short wait ,they were now in front of the person that controls the Ferris wheel

Lena seemed to stiffen a little when they got on the Ferris wheel ,it started to move upward

"Lena are you okay?" Kara asked Lena worriedly

"Oh um sure" Lena kept looking at her fingers that was fidgeting together ,kara notice lena fidgeting with her fingers ,she seems to do that when she gets nervous

"Lena what's wrong " Kara took Lena hand in hers ,Lena looked up to see Kara blue eyes that was starring at her with worry

Lena sigh" it's just I'm um afraid of hights "

Kara didn't say a word ,she just scooted closer to Lena and put her arm around lena neck and side hugged her

"It's alright Lena I'm right here ,there's no need for you to be scared anymore because I'll always be here for you" Kara whispered into her ear

Lena seemed to relax in Kara arms ,the Ferris wheel stoped at the top ,both women looked out to see a bunch of flashing lights below ,the sky was clear and there was a little breeze but other than that there night was perfect to them

They sat in comfortable silence for a bit until Kara broke the silence

"Lena?" Lena responded a hum

"Thank you for tonight "

"Your welcome kara,and thank you for showing me that it's okay to have a little fun once in a while " Kara hugged Lena again since her arm was still wrapped around lena neck ,they stayed like that till the Ferris wheel started to go down ,Lena stiffened a little bit again but Kara reassured her by hugging her again

After they got off the Ferris wheel Lena got a text from brad saying that he was at the entrance ready to pick them up

"Brad is here to pick us up ,we should get going" Kara nod and grabbed Lena hand and they both started walking to the entrance where they saw the limbo parked ,brad came out and opened the door for them

"Hello miss Luther and miss Danvers how was your evening ?" Brad asked

"It was splendid ,isn't that right Kara dear" Lena smiled at Kara and Kara smiled back

"Yes it sure was and I loved every second of it" Lena blushed

"Awe how cute, you two will make a cute couple one day" brad winked at the two ,Kara and Lena both blushed and went inside the limbo and brad shut the door ,went to the drivers side again and started to drive off to Kara apartment

The whole car ride to her place Kara and Lena both never part there hands and kept smiling at each other, giggling from time to time and both got to know each other better ,surprisingly they had a couple of things in common like how they both was adopted into family's, there birthparents died when they were young ,of course Kara had to make up a lie about her parents and her home planet being destroyed but other than that they really enjoyed each others company

They got to Kara apartment building and they both got out ,Lena wanted to make sure Kara got into her apartment safe and sound

They got to her door when Kara turned around to face Lena

"Thank you again Lena for taking me out on our first date ,I hope well have many more down the road "

"So do I Kara and it was no problem ,have a goodnight kara"

"You to lena" Lena hugged Kara one last time and quickly kissed her cheek
Leaving Kara a flustered mess

After Lena left Kara opened her door and got in and saw Alex and Maggie on her couch cuddling together peacefully sleeping Kara smiled warmly at the two and walked to her room because she was to tired from today's events

Kara took her dress off and changed into the super pjs

"It's not always bad to do a little self promotion nowadays" Kara said out loud to herself ,she then brushed her teeth and plopped down on her bed

She sigh "Lena luther" she loved how that name just rolled off her tongue

"What are you doing to me woman" she smiled falling asleep ,dreaming about a certain Luther
