Chapter 3: Tris Pov
Today is the first day of initiation. I remember my first day like it was yesterday. I was extremely nervous and had only made one friend. Christina. Luckily, she helped me and I made more. I remember punching the bag and seeing it stay completely still. I was mortified. I felt a pang in my stomach, I wasn't going to make it was I? But I did.
I roll over and see Tobias still asleep. I slowly remove my self from his grasp and sit up, rubbing my eyes. Soon enough his eyes flutter open, they way the always do, and he sits up too.
"Hey Six." He says, smiling at me.
"We're not in front of the initiates anymore, you can call me Tris." I say rolling my eyes and giving a peck on the cheek.
"I know. But I like the nickname." He says getting out of bed.
I got over my fear of intimacy about a month ago, and i don't mean fully over it, I don't mind being in a bed with Tobias, but if it goes any further than that, I start to get restless. - Fortunately, he respects that.
I get out of bed and throw on a black tank top, black jeans and lace up my training boots. I walk into the bathroom brush my teeth, comb my hair and then tie it back into a ponytail. Then I do my usual face cream ritual and apply a small amount of concealer to cover up my spots. I wash my hands and walk out to see a fully dressed Tobias.
"That was quick?" He said, almost like a question.
I just roll my eyes and stand on my tip-toes to give him a kiss. He laughs and we both make our way through to the kitchen. I fill up the kettle and make us both a cup of tea, well tea for me but coffee for Four. Then he makes us both some toast and we sit down at the table.
"I can remember your first day." He says in between bites of his toast and sips of his tea.
"Me too. Felt like only yesterday." I say finishing off my toast and coffee. "We better get down there, I'll swing by Peters apartment to check here's ready." I say standing up and grabbing my black bag and slinging it over my shoulder.
"See you in the training room in 10." Tobias says while checking the weather forecast for this week.
"See you." I say as I walk out of the door, not bothering to lock it because he's still in.
I make my way to Peters apartment, which is only a few blocks away from mine and Fours. When I get there I knock on his door and within a minute or so, he is there.
"Ready?" I say making sure he's dressed and clean.
"Yeah," he says walking out of his apartment and locking it. "I woke them up around seven-ish. Not all where so happy about that." He says smirking.
"They'll get used to it." I say as we walk towards the training centre.
I would just like to clarify that I have not forgiven Peter for what he put me through, I have just come to terms with him. He isn't as repulsive when he's not trying to kill you, take your towel away or taunt you. Although I hate to admit it. - He has gotten better. He didn't take the memory serum we just convinced him to get a counsellor; However, at times, you can still see the old, mean, malicious Peter he once was.
Okay, here's chapter three! I hope you like it, I am going to do a few more chapters this afternoon. So look forward to more. Thank you
