The fights.

Chapter 5: Tobias Pov

After about an hour and a half of full on training, we decide to call them into the circle.

"After an hour and a half of training, do you think you can fight?" Tris asks rhetorically, she doesn't care what they say. They're fighting either way.

"Couldn't we just fight tomorrow ?" Annie, a petite redhead girl croaks.

"No-" Tris gets interrupted,

"I don't think I'm ready." Annie says, nearly crying.

"I am." Clove says rolling her eyes at Annie. "And Cato is too. We where born ready."

Cato just stands there smirking with Clove while Marvel and Glimmer mock Annie. - Oh the cliques.

"I never asked for you opinion." I say as they 'playfully' hit Annie.

"Stop hitting her!" Tris shouts, they immediately stop, "You'll have more than enough time to do that in the ring."

"Okay, the rules are;

1. The fight doesn't end until one of you is unconscious. Dont give me the crap where you 'can't go on.' You'll go on until we tell you to.

2. Hit anywhere. We don't care, aslong as you don't kill them. We don't care.

And 3. Try to make them interesting, it's very boring to watch a quick, painless fight." Peter says and we all smirk.

"First fight," Tris begins, "Katniss Vs Annie! In the ring, now!" She shouts.

When they get in the ring the fight starts. Katniss throws the first punch, hitting Annie in the nose and making her yelp. She stumbles back holding her nose and eventually falls to the ground. Katniss takes this as the time to advance and kicks Annie in the ribs and another cry for help comes out. Annie quickly stands up, knowing that if she lay there she would definitely lose the fight, and goes in for a kick but Katniss grabs her leg and throws her to the ground. She kneels down near Annie and punches her multiple times until Annie finally says

"Stop! I'm done! I'm done!" She crawls away from Katniss.

"What did you just say?" I snarl, bending down towards her, suddenly feeling a little like Peter.

"I'm done." Annie says cowering in fear.

"Up! Peter, mind showing her what happens when you decide you want to stop and we haven't said you can." I say smirking at Peter and yanking Annie up.

"Gladly." He says, "Initiates, follow me." He leads them to the Chasm.

"As you know, this is the chasm. Now Annie come here," I lead her towards Peter, who is honestly quite scary.

"You will hang here for five minutes and we will forgive your cowardice or you don't you're out. Of course if you do choose to hang you could clearly fall into the chasm and die. But the option is completely yours." he says.

"I'll do it." she says, obviously not wanting to become factionless on her first day.

Annie makes her way towards the edge and Peter pushes her off, making her scream in fear. He grabs her hand and puts it on the railing for her to hang there. All of the other initiates stare at Annie, and some of the boys have to hold Finnick back. Does he like her? Are they dating?

After five minutes, I say "Times up! Pull her up."

Finnick, Madge, Katniss, Lacey and Peeta all go to help her up and she begins crying. They all comfort her as we lead the other initiates to the training room.

"Now you have seen one of the punishments, I don't think you'll make the mistake of cowering down and stopping." Tris says roughly.

The people who were helping Annie drag her back in as she is too weak to walk and Finnick perks up and says

"I'll take her to the infirmary."

I nod and say "Be back soon, wouldn't want to miss your fight would you?" He picks Annie up and carries her out of the training room. I look over and see Clove, Cato, Marvel and Glimmer snickering and smirking. It's okay, I doubt they could hang on for that amount of time. I've got to hand it to Annie, doing that must have been tough.

Peter goes up to the board and circles Katniss' name.

"Well, there was a clear winner in that fight. Katniss Wins!" He says and Peeta congratulates her.

"Since Finnick is in the infirmary, we will have to do his last. Lucky Madge." I taunt, "In the ring we'll have.." I look at the board and look back at the initiates, "Peeta and Clove. In the ring! Now!" I shout.

Peeta and Clove make their way to the ring and I can see the fear in Peetas eyes. - Hes just like me. Just like how I was when I had my first fight. I mean he's not a bad fighter but up against clove he doesn't really stand a chance. We'll just have to see how long we lasts.

Clove throws a kick but Peeta dodges it. Wow. Peeta then throws a punch and it misses by an inch, Clove then punches him in the face when his guard is down. He quickly regains himself and punches clove, or Atleast tries to. He misses. Again. And she takes the opportunity to kick him down. Peeta falls to the ground and very quickly afterwards Clove kicks his back, then his ribs, then she punches him in the jaw. He grabs ahold of it and she kicks him in the face leaving him unconscious. She looks up and Smirks at everyone as Katniss runs into the ring and carries Peeta out and into the infirmary.

Tris walks over to the board and circles Cloves name, then she looks at the list and picks two names. I wait in anticipation to see who it is.

I hope it's a good fight. Everyone's fight so far hasn't even lasted a good five minutes.

God, I do sound like Peter.

Sorry for not updating but i wanted to try and get some more views on my previous chapters but i cant wait any longer so here is the first fight chapter; I like the fight chapters, they're fun to write and you can be very descriptive.
