The infirmary.

Chapter 9: Peter Pov

I walk towards the infirmary and ask the nurse at the desk what room the initiates are in. She says '64' and that's where I head towards.

When I first get there I pull back a curtain and see Annie, she looks a lot better than she did about two hours ago.

"Annie. You'll need to go get lunch now, be back in the training room by 1 and take any medication the doctor has given you." I say, but she's not the one I want to see.

She nods and walks out as if nothing happened. And it looks like nothing happened, she only has a scratch on her face and a few bruises on her arms and some on her back. But otherwise she's recovered quickly. I don't tell her about Glimmer. I'll leave that for the initiates to do. It's not my job.

I walk out of her section, closing the curtain to, I open another one and see Peeta. He doesn't look as good as Annie, but once he's eaten, he should be better.

"Peeta, you need to go have lunch and be back in the training room for 1. Okay?" I say to him as he gets out of his bed. He nods and we both walk out. I watch him walk out of the hospital room and find Annie, they walk out together. I turn my back and open the third curtain and see Marvel. He doesn't look as good, I'll give him another hour,

"Be back in the training room by two, you better go eat now but you can have an hours sleep. You're not looking so good buddy." I say and he walks out of the room on crutches and towards the cafeteria.

Then I walk out and pull back the last curtain and see Lacey. Just who I came for. She looks up at me and pulls her hands out from under the hospital sheets,

"Are you okay?" I ask her, I go to hold her hand but realise I'm her instructor.

"I'm Fine, doctor said I'll be out in about 15 minutes. But I don't get it, i'm just this stiff, whos probably going to end up factionless, why do you care?" I try not to get hurt by what she says.

"Well, I-" I get cut off by her,

"It's okay, you don't have to lie to me." She says looking down at her hands.

"No, what I meant to say was I do care." I say looking down at her hand and moving mine closer. I know it's wrong but it feels so right.

She looks down at how close our hands are and says

"Wh-" but she stops speaking when I hold her hand. She just stares at me and I feel myself leaning in towards her.

And to my surprise she leans in too, we both move closer towards each other until our lips meet. I put my hand on her neck and she puts her warm hand on top of it. We kiss for several minutes until she pulls away and says

"I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that I ju-." I cut her off again with another kiss. This time it feels better.

I pull back away and look down and she just smiles at me,

"Well, you'll need to be back in the training room for one, I can help you to the cafeteria if you'd like." I say to her.

"Sure." she says moving the covers away from her and swinging her body over the bed. Her feet touch the floor and she bends down to put her shoes on her feet but I beat her to it. I grab her shoes and lace them up. She then stands up, holding my hand. I walk with her until we get to the cafeteria until she lets go of my hand,

"Can't have everyone thinking I've kissed my instructor can we?" She says with a slight smirk on her face. I let her walk in and she goes to sit down with Madge and Katniss, as if nothing ever happened.

I catch her glancing at me a few times, but I just can't help my self from staring at her. That is until Drew says

"He does like the stiff!"

"What?" I say, "don't call her that." I get all defensive and that's when I know, they've caught on.

"You do!" Molly says gasping, "I'm gonna go tell her."

"No, don't!" I say and Molly sits back down,

"Ha!" She says and that's when I've really blown it. "You do like her."

"Fine, I do." I say honestly.

Drew just smirks at her as if he likes her too. Wait does he?

Next chapter. I think this is a cute one, I just definitely think Peter deserves someone. I mean he does change.
