It was new years eve and Shen was busy cooking. Yes the grate and powerful lord Shen knows how to cook. And we just finished filming the fight part of the your are mine and mine alone movie. "Honey why won't you let me cook," I whined. "Because I am the husband and I also wear the pants in this relationship," Shen retorted. I sighed seeing he had a point. "Yeah but didn't you say Women are supposed to do the cooking and the cleaning while the man goes out and works," I asked pointing out the fact he is a sexist. He coughed a bit and blushed. "Cough well um... I just wanted to give you a brake okay," he finally admitted. I laughed and huged him from behind. "Well that's mighty kind of you my devilish prince," I giggled. He stopped stirring the bean curd and looked at me. "Really now? I AM A king not a prince get that right," he laughed. There was a sudden knock on the door and I went to see what was going on when I see Po, Viper, Tigress, Mantis, Monkey, and Crain at the door with shifu. "Honey what are our co workers doing her?" "Oh I invited them," Shen replied. I opened the door and let them in welcoming the seven people in. "Hey congrats on getting knocked up," Po said with a grin. I glared at Shen who acted innocent. "I am sorry but Shen must have pranked you. I am not pregnant at the moment," I said with a frown. Seriously what is wrong with people.
Time skip to 11 pm
Everyone was watching the new years special on out 90" flat screen tv in the tv room.
Most of the people left excluding viper and Po. "So what are your new years resolutions," Po asked. "To become a father," Shen said with a smirk looking at me. "Sapphire?" "Um I don't have any currently," I responded. "I want to get more cooking done for my family, how about you Po," Viper said and asked. "Well I wanna eat more of Sapphire's dumplings without my butt getting handed to me by Shen. " Shen looked proud and huffed puffing out his chest. "Well it's my wife you are getting too chummy with!"
We all laughed and Po left with Viper to god knows where. Leaving Shen and I alone. It was only 11:20 pm and he smirked. "Wanna try for a baby," Shen asked. I shook my head and sighed. "No not right now dear but how about another time," I said yawning.
Third person pov.
Shen looked at Sapphire with a soft smile. "Sleepy," Shen asked. "No," Sapphire lied yawning again falling asleep. Shen picked her up and laid her on his chest. "Sleep my love I will wake you when it's time," Shen said with a smile. "Gosh she is so cute when she is sleepy," Shen thought smiling as Sapphire slept on his chest. Let's just say they didnt make it to the ball finally dropping.
