Chapter 14

Claudia's POV
The next day I awoke in the servants quarters. I grumbled in anger, that little runt gets my spot! She gets to sleep with her master no my master and she is expecting his child. My blood boiled I wanted to be her I wanted that child to be mine and mine alone.
       I got up and made my bed then I went off to make breakfast for everyone. However I had an idea... what if I spiked Lord Shen's drink with the love potion? No, Sapphire already figured me out and she already told Lord Shen about it. What  use do I have by doing that? Are then decide to discard that but then I realized what if she wasn't around I can get him to fall for me. A grin creeped on to my face.  All I need to do is get her out of the house er Castle. And I know just the way to do it.
    Time skip.
Sapphire POV
   I woke up at the crack of dawn and had made my own breakfast. I don't trust that Claudia. She looked at Lord Shen like a piece of meat.   I started to read a book only to notice my stomach has gotten bigger.  Oh right I forgot to mention for demons it takes anywhere from nine days to nine months for a pregnancy. And apparently mine will be nine days.  Judging from the acceleration. 

      Boy Shen will be shocked.  I sighed and grabbed some scrolls and brought them back to the bedroom shen and I now share.  I looked over at Shen who was twitching in his sleep. I rose a brow at this tempted to wake him up. But decided against it as he did look peaceful.
      I then got into bed and covered myself. Then I started reading. After some time I heard Claudia get up.  When she finally came in I looked up from the scroll I was reading about a scholar who is a vampire. She seemed surprised to see me awake.   "Shen darling, " I cooed which woke him right up. "Don't call me that," Shen said with a bright red face.  I chuckled at this. I felt daggers being glared into my head and I smirked.  I looked at Claudia who then smiled bitterly. "I have brought you breakfast master Shen," Claudia said and rolled in a tray with two plates.  "I am afraid I already ate.  I have been up for quite a while," I said not trusting her and jealousy seething in my voice.   Claudia's smirked apparently I gave her the satisfaction of showing my emotions.  So I smirked and turned Shen to me and I pointed down.  He looked down and gasped. "What happened, " Both Claudia and Shen asked.  "Oh apparently a pregnancy for demons can take anywhere from nine days to nine months and Claudia I thought you would know better," I said. 
Claudia fumed.  Shen did the most unexpected thing ever he hugged me tightly and kissed my neck.  Which got me to melt in his arms.  "Master Shen I will leave to tend to my other duties, " Claudia said through gritted teeth.  I smiled and kissed Shen as he waved her off.
Claudia's pov
    I can't believe I forgot about such a thing. I may not be able to have kids but maybe I can steal her baby.  Nah that's too cruel even for me.   I look at the two who are going at it. I grunt in annoyance.  Shen promised me I could be his concubine.  But I know full well he hates concubines. 
     I think back to when we met I then smile.  He and I made a deal I wanted to be his first wife but he said I can only be his concubine as his first wife position is already filled.  To think that that noble girl daughter of the fallen God of chaos is his wife.  She then walks out and I hide. She looks to where I am hidden and I pray she doesn't come over.  To my dismay she does come over and tells no orders me to get her a crab cake.  I blink confused. That lower ranked bitch is ordering me? Me?! A Barron's daughter! I sigh just as Shen comes out.  I then take my leave.  Hearing him say something to her. 

   Shen pov
   I have to tell her.  I get off if bed and follow my beloved.  I then send off Claudia and tell Sapphire that I love her. "I love you Sapphire, "I say and kiss her. She stands there like an idiot for a moment and shoves me away.  "Not in front of the kid, " She says.  I look at her confused.  Then I see the same boy from before who cocks his head confused.  "What are you two doing exactly, " He asked. 
     I looked at the boy and then at Sapphire he has her body body structure.  I then realize something this boy may be my kid.    "Meet the spirit of our child.  The gender has not been decided yet so right now the child is gender neutral, " Sapphire said. I gawked  and looked at the two. I broke down and fainted.
