chapter 17

I heard laughter. "She choked me for it," Claudia laughed, "I am the daughter of a baron. You have no right to choke me!" I looked at Shen and rushed up to him pinning him with a spell. "Hey," Shen shouted.  I then gave him a kiss looking into his eyes seeing the poison leave his eyes.  "Mmmph," Shen muttered. I growled at him tears streaking down my cheeks. "Sapphire you okay," Shen asked worried. I broke the spell and I went after Claudia who was throwing a fit. I then punched her and pulled out her hair. "You costed me my baby you fucking whoar," I said, "i don't give a flying fuck if you are a baron daughter here you are nothing but a commoner!" She punched me in my stomach and out came the corpse of Shen and my child. I took out the demon killing blade and stabbed her growling as she screamed. "Don't think of taking that out," I hissed. Shen looked at me and tried to hug me but I shoved him away. "My baby is gone and I HATE EVERYONE!" I left for my servant room crying. 

Shen Pov

I watched as Sapphire stormed away. "You know Sir you really hurt her when you were under that spell," Sen ye said. "I know," I replied. I followed after Sapphire and tried to enter the room. "Go away," sapphire sobbed. She was hugging her pillow and crying her eyes out. "No I won't. I shouldn't have drank that tea.  I am sorry for not listening," I said.  Sapphire threw a pillow at me. "We can start on another one the child can be reborn," I said trying to calm her. "That's the thing demons cannot be reborn. And I doubt halfbloods can do that too."  I sighed and sat next to her.  "You know you will never know if you do not try," I said then tried to rub her back. "I don't want to," Sapphire growled lowly. "And if you don't want your hand bitten off I suggest you don't touch me for now," Sapphire warned me.

   I looked at her then got up and left. It has been a few months since then and Sapphire changed drastically. It was supposed to be our first child and because of my neglect to realize what clasudia was up to she lost the child. Sapphire went out often and came back late at night  drunk.  I couldn't help but feel bad for her. One night I checked on her to see if she wanted some company. However; she was passed out asleep when I got into her room. On the floor was a doll tear stained  though but it was of our would have been child.  She neglected her work a lot in favor to party. And after a year of this I got sick of it.

I walked up to sapphire who was putting on a fake smile as she was cooking breakfast. "You know what Sapphire come to my room we need to talk."
