Chapter 7: you are not taking her

"Whats this about a manner," Shen asked as he walked up to Sapphire. "Nothing really," Sapphire lied. Shen looked at Sapphire with a scowl. "Nothing is something Miss Sapphire," Shen hissed. "Fine fine," Sapphire surrendered and told Shen about her manner and how it was over run by her half brother Yuma. Shen was furious well furious couldn't describe his true anger.
"Do you want me to send an army to your manor to take it back," Shen asked. "Oh heaven's no Lord Shen," Sapphire gasped, "I could never troubble you for that and besides you will be far out matched against him!" Shen gave Sapphire the really look. "They are in hell Lord Shen as I am a demon," Sapphire explained.
A guard came in and told them that a male was spotted a bit too close to the perimeters of the castle. Shen went to investigate only to find it was a butler. "Sir who are you and what is it do you want," Shen demanded. "My name is Claude and I am the butler of Sapphire your maid I presume. I am here to bring her home," the man said as he pushed up his speckticals (glasses). "And why would I give up my maid," Shen retorted.
"Because if you don't you will die," Claude said. Shen taken aback stepped backwards. "Sapphire het your butt put here now," Shen commanded.
Sapphire walked out confused. "Yes Lord Shen," Sapphire asked. Shen looked at Sapphire as she walked closer. He motioned for her to stop and she did. "Do you know this man," Shen asked. Shen looked at Sapphire who nodded.
"Yes my old butler who betrayed me," Sapphire said.
Shen glared at the butler who scoffed. "Well it wasn't my fault your father was a fallen angel," Claude retorted. Sapphire was filled with anger at the moment Claude insulted her. "Sapphire. Calm down getting angry wont solve anything," Shen said. "I was abandoned and now they want me," Sapphire screamed in anger. "Sapphire," Shen yelled as he lost his patience. Sapphire had shut her mouth in order to make Shen happy. Shen looked at Claude anger in his eyes. " why do you want with my maid," Shen asked. "Yuma has died and she is the only person capable of serving the devil as his duchess." Shen looked at Claude and growled, "you are lying do not lie to me demon!" "Yuma cannot die and I am afraid I know why,' Sapphire said, "He is the son of the devil and i know devils cannot die too easily when young." Claude glared at the two, "you two won'tget away I will have Sapphire back even if it costs me everything!" The demon butler then vanished into thin air. Shen then turned around fully only to be hugged by Sapphire. "Thank you Lord Shen," Sapphire was thankful to not be taken away. "Why so touchy all of a sudden," Shen asked with a raised brow. "Becuase i am not going to be abused by my brother back in hell," Sapphire explained.
Sapphire pov
I was so happy that Shenasked questions. And to be honest I didn't feel well. But i smiled at Shen and let him out of the embrace. He was genuinely shocked. But i left skipping away unknowing what was happening.
Shen pov
When she hugged me I was in shock. No one dared to do that if they valued their lives.
But my heart was pounding i was worried that she could hear it. Though I wanted it to last longer but it was only a few seconds as she parted from the embrace. Smiling she skipped off to who knows where in the castle. My heart still pounded as a blush stained my face red. What is this feeling? I don't want her taken away from me. Yet I want her badly.

A little authors note here anyways sorry for such a short chapter I have writers block at the moment and i dont know how this story should go. I mean I did have a plot but um hehe I kinda forgot the plot. I know I am an idiot but still. Anyways hope you guys like the story so far. And sorry for the grammar errors.
