Chaper 13

         (Back to the present)

                Seth's POV

I was caught off guard by everything that was happening. Jake was limping. Derrick's dad broke in and fought Jake. This was too much to take at one time. I had my face buried in Azrael's fur as worked everything out in my head.

"Well fuck this is not good," grunted Jake holding Derrick close "We need to keep you away from him." I saw why Jake was limping. He had a big piece of glass lodged in his footpad. It must have hurt badly, so I walked up to him gestured him to the bed.

Jake got the hint and sat on the bed Derrick not leaving his side. "Azrael can you get me a wet cloth, medical wrap, and a bandage please." I asked lifting Jake's foot looking to see how deep the glass went.

After a short while, Azrael returned with everything and set it next to me. I thanked him and grabbed the glass. Upon a quick pull, the piece slid out. Of course Jake not wanting to seem like a wimp he bunched the blankets in his fists.

I cleaned the gash which wasn't bleeding as much as i thought it would. After I bandaged and wrapped his paw we all decided to go back to campus. Which was a relief for me?

             Azrael's POV

I was driving as we headed back to TCU. Jake was in the back with Derrick and Seth was in the front seat with me. "Hey, Seth how did you know what to do with my foot?" Jake asked as he held a sleeping Derrick. "I'm a Medical major." Seth answered looking out the window.

I playfully rolled my eyes and continued to drive. Once we made it to campus Seth was sleep too. "Jake, will you be able to carry Derrick inside our do you need me to do it?" I asked getting out the car and walking around to Seth's side.

"Nah man I got it." said Jake picking up Derrick and getting out the car. I laughed to myself and picked up Seth. We both carried our boys to our dorm and shut the door. As I set Seth down on his bed I started thinking. 'What if that guy knows where we are? What if he hurts Derrick? What if he tries to kill Jake?'

I was scared for my life, for Seth's life, Derrick's life, for Jake's life. I hope nothing bad happens.
