Chapter 15

                 Derrick's POV

I rolled off my bed and walked to my dresser. "Where do you wanna go?" Jake asked hugging me from behind. "Well I know you and Azrael have practice and Seth is going to see family, so I want to draw you while you practice." I smiled taking off my shirt and slipping on Jake's too big shirts.

He raised an eyebrow and laughed a bit to himself. "Ok if you want to. Let me get changed first." he walk to his dresser and pulled out a pair of basketball shorts and a plan white tee. After I put on my normal ripped jeans and fitted blue shirt, I grabbed my art backpack and sketch book.

"Ready." I said fixing my collar. Jake grabbed his backpack and opened the door for me. I walked out, but as passed Jake I licked his nose once more making him sneeze again. I giggled and leaned against the wall as Jake twitched his nose and shut the dorm door. He wrapped his arm around my waist and we went down to the campus gym.

Once there I take my spot on the front row of the bleachers, in front of a bunch of girls that were there to watch their boyfriends practice. I never really talked to the girls at the school. They were a little too prissy for me. I saw Jake meet up with Azrael and they started running through drills.

I started sketching as I saw Jake with a evil grin on his face as he faked left and went around Azrael. I smiled and kept the the image in my head as I sketched. It was easy for me to draw things like this because I have been drawing since I was 6. As I sketched the girls behind next start looking at me and the sketch.

"You know Jake Howlston?" I heard a girl say. "Yeah I do. Why you ask?" I said finishing the sketch. The shrieks those girls let out I swear I thought my ears would start bleeding. "Ow my ears." I whined covering them. "Sorry," they giggled "Do you think you can set one of us up with him. He is so hot." they finished.

I raised an eyebrow at them from the question surprised me. 'Haven't they heard he's gay and MY boyfriend.' I questioned in my thoughts. "Not to be rude or anything, but no I can't hook you up with Jake." I said keeping eye contact with them. "What? Why?" they asked tilting their heads all to the same side. 'Why are they acting like those twin girls from that scary movie.' I scoffed in my head.

Wanting to show off I lifted my head and tapped the tip of my claw on the tag. I heard a variety of whispers come from the girls as they moved in closer to get a better look at the tag. "You see he's my boyfriend." I smirked lowering my head. They clapped, hugged me, and walked out the gym. Confused and not wanting to get in any trouble I shrugged it off. As I turned around I saw Jake getting into a first fight with some sort of fox wolf hybrid.

Jake was about to bite his neck, but luckily I ran over and launched myself at Jake making him roll off of him. The hybrid got up and limped off with a broken canine, sprain ankle, and a bleeding nose. I help Jake up noticing he wasn't hurt. "What was that about?" I asked looking him over. "That bastard grabbed my fucking ass and told me to meet him behind the gym in 10." snarled Jake. "Jake, he was a coach." I looking into his bright yellow eyes seeing them fill with fear.
