 "Hey Bow?"

"Yeah Glimmer, what's up?"

"I think we should take Adora home."

"Sure, why?"

"She's kinda hiding in the bathroom right now."

"Oh my God. Is she okay?" Perfuma asked.

"Yeah. She accidentally got really drunk. I think she isn't felling well, and you know what the Horde taught her to do when she's sick."

"Ok. I'll go get my things." Bow said. He left the room.

I stood there among all my new friends, and I couldn't think of anything to say. Even if I weren't still flusters from my interaction with Adora I don't think I would be able to form a sentence. I've never been good at small talk. Bow was my first real friend. He always made conversation easy. He was kinda like my anchor. After about thirty seconds of silence my face stated to burn out of embarrassment. They were all probably waiting for me to say something. The thing is I'm not sure I've ever talked to any of these people without Bow or Adora there.

"I'm going to go check on Adora. Have a good rest of your night." I finally said. I rushed out of the room as everyone smiled and waved goodbye.

I walked up to the bathroom and knocked on the door. "Adora, are you in there?" There was no reply so I just let myself in.

Adora was sitting on the floor hugging her knees.

"Come on, get up. We're leaving."

"Will you sit next to me?"

I looked down at her pouting at me. Adora was impossible to say no to.

"Fine." I said lowering myself beside her. "Bow is probably waiting for us by now."

"I know."

We sat there for a few minutes not saying anything. Adora put her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes. After ten or so more minutes someone knocked on the door.

"Come in!" I said.

Bow opened up the door and walked in.

"Is she asleep?" He asked.

"Yeah. She's had a really long night."

"How about you? Are you okay?"

"I think so."

"Are you sure? I know this must be really weird for you. I saw you guys dancing."

"I don't know how to feel. She's just so..."

"Amazing?"

"Yeah. I feel like a really shitty person for enjoying this. Her asleep in my lap."

"You aren't a shitty person. You just love her."

"I think I do. I love Adora." A tried to fight the smile on my face, but I couldn't.

Adora shifted in my lap.

"You awake sleepy head?" I asked her.

"Almost." She said.

"Let's get you home."

"Bow, can you help me up?" Adora said wiping the sleep from her eyes.

Adora used Bow and me as crutches, and we helped her out of the bathroom. We said goodbye to everyone and left.

Back at the castle Bow and I tucked Adora into bed. I slept on the floor of her room that night to make sure Adora was okay.
