Late Night Calls

Late night calls and another text,

Is this as good as its gonna get?

Another timezone take me away from you,

Living dreams and fluorescent lights,While you and I are running out if time,

But you know I will always wait for you.

I woke to the sound of my phone ringing. It was 3 in the morning. I checked the Caller ID: My Rainbow Unicorn<3. I answered the phone, angry that my sleep was disturbed, but happy that he called, 'Hey babe, calling a bit early aren't we?', I laughed but he didn't see the joke, 'Fuck Anna. What's the time back home?', I looked over at the clock, 'Its exactly 3:03', he gasped, 'Shit Anna, I'm so sorry. You know I was never good at maths... Honey have you ever thought about using the clock on your phone?', he had to think about it for a minute causing us both to laugh, 'See, that's why I love you, you're all brains and beauty, while I'm just the beauty... I think the hair dye has gotten to your head', we both laughed and I heard the ping of a new message. I checked and Michael had sent me a photo of his newly coloured pinkish-purple hair. 'Oh my lord. What have you done?... You like?... Ahhhh...' It was silent for a minute and then I heard the boys in th background, 'Hey Anna! We're very sorry but we're going have to steal Mickey away from you yet again... That's ok. I can catch up on my sleep... Thank you!!!... Look after him or else... We will. Bye'. And with that the phone went dead. I put my head back down and struggled to fall asleep as I was so hyped up. I just loved late night calls.
