Returning home, Elizabeth grumbled to herself in annoyance, the heels she wore killing her feet. Wanting nothing but to take it off and change into more comfy clothes, she handed the driver the money she owed before waking inside her house. It was quiet for the most part, the sun had set long ago and everyone mostly would have been asleep.
Thomas was there already waiting for her, seemingly always knowing when she would arrive. It was creepy at first, but Elizabeth grew used to it. In his hands was a plate of food which she took gratefully before sitting down by the counter.
Kicking off her heels, she eagerly dug into the delicious smelling food, "Are Rosie and James asleep?"
"Yes, Mr. Morgan put them to bed, I hope you don't mind," Thomas was busying himself with tidying up the counter.
Elizabeth was surprised to hear that Arthur was back and couldn't help but feel a slight joy to know he was the one to put her kids to sleep. Their kids to sleep.
No matter how much she told herself that she didn't want Arthur involved with her kids if he what's going to leave his Outlaw life behind, it didn't stop the desire of wanting Arthur to be with them. For all four of them to be a family, and Elizabeth was willing to make sacrifices to make sure Arthur was comfortable in their lives. In her head, she would leave the life of business behind, all the thrilly clothes and the big mansion in exchange for a ranch. Somewhere secluded, away from the big city, maybe up in the mountains somewhere.
That was the life she wanted when she still rode with the gang and she still wanted that life.
Years may have passed with being without Arthur, but it never meant she ever stopped loving him. The Outlaw managed to steal her heart and Elizabeth didn't mind it.
While Elizabeth was lost in her daydream of the thought of her family living in a nice ranch, John approached her, having arrived a few hours after Arthur. He noticed Elizabeth sitting by herself, a dazed happy look on her face while she played with her food instead of eating it. She looked peaceful and happy right now and John was wary to disturb it.
Remembering when he first set eyes on Elizabeth, he was much younger and was a love-struck fool for the beautiful women. John never fancied fancy women, but despite the expensive clothes she wore, Elizabeth spoke anything but high class. When he stumbled upon her in the cellar of an O'Driscoll hideout, bound to a chair, he expected terrified and hysteric women, but he got something completely different.

After shooting the last few O'Driscoll's, John was absolutely exhausted, the few minutes that was spent shooting felt like hours. The adrenaline left him as soon as the last shot was fired and every one of them was killed. A few bullets grazed him but there were no serious wounds he had to concern himself with and instead followed Dutch's command for him to loot the house and Arthur was going to loot the barn.
Guns still in his hand just in case there were a few strays hiding, he cautiously entered the home. For the most part, it was a mess, but John saw something's worth taking and that involved some cans of food and a few cash clips which he tucked away for himself. He then went to check the fireplace and load and behold, a hidden safe was hidden there and when he opened it it was a heaping pile of cash. Grinning, he tucked it away for safekeeping and would distribute it late.
Glancing around the room for anything else worth checking, John spotted a door and when he opened it there was a set of stairs leading to a basement. Grabbing a nearby lamp to light his way, he carefully climbed down the steps. It was musty and the walls were practically drenched in dust causing him to cough with his lungs being invaded by it.
