Some people affect the lives of others everywhere they go. They don't realize, or notice it because they underestimate their influence. And yet, every person they pass by benefits from their presence... It's as if they carry with them a breath of fresh air that cuts through the dank, stale, suffocating atmosphere of life.
So they walk through this world forever unaware of how intensely their kindness; their very existence is needed by every last person they casually interact with.
For it's that very underestimation that drives them to be the better self; to be selfless, caring, and give every situation and person their all. To love intensely, to cherish fully, to be present in every way.
Those are the heroes that walk among us; unsung, unknown, yet the very glue that keeps society from falling apart.
