8 "Have the best birthday party in my life"

Next day I woke up in FP's arms. I was happy. I looked at him and smiled. I decided to wake him up, so I sat on the bed and got FP's face in my hands. I starterd to kissing him on his forehead, cheeks, nose, lips. God, I love this man.

Wait... Did I say that I love him? Oh, fuck...

"Good morning, babe" I said when he opened his eyes.

"Good morning, my queen" He smiled at me. "Everything fine?"

"Yes" I nodded and I lay down on him. "I need to go home. I think Betty is freaking out right now" I added with a sigh and looked at him. "I really want to stay with you..."

"I know. I want it too" He said and kissed me on lips. "I'm curious. What's the next point on your list?"

"Have the best birthday party in my life." I said and looked at him. He frowned. "What?"

"You remember every point by heart?"

"Well, Yes" I shrugged. I stood up from bed and I dressed my robe. "I will go to make breakfast" I smiled and went to the kitchen.

I wanted to make a small Birthday party with my friends and family, but unfortunately no one answered my phone...

Hermione said she had an urgent trip.

"I'd love to come, Alice, but I have to go to Greendale for the conference," she told me. This was understandable in the end, she was the mayor.

Fred said that he had gone fishing with Archie and couldn't have postponed it.

"If I knew before, I would change my plans, but I promised Archie. I'm sorry, Alice" it was already suspicious.

The biggest disappointment was when I was talking about my birthday with FP.

"Honey, I can't meet with you because I have a night shift in my job. The next day, I'll reward you all" after his words I just cried.

My daughter said that on that day she was going to a party with Veronica, so it turned out that I would celebrate my birthday alone.

On the birthday I left the house in the morning and decided to go shopping to the town center, but unfortunately shopping didn't give me joy. When I left one store, on the other side of the road, I noticed FP, which was leaving the baker with a large box. For a moment I thought it might be my birthday cake, but then I broke it off my head.

Everyone avoided me, so I decided to avoid them. I went to the bakery, bought a candle and a large caramel topped muffin. I paid and went out of the bakery. I got in the car and went to the river, where I could calmly think.

I got out of the car and decided to walk along the river bank. I picked up the cupcake and put a candle in it. I pulled out a lightbox and lit a candle.

"Happy birthday, Alice. I wish you to be happy at the end of your poor life." I said the words and blew out the candle.

A tear ran down my cheek, but I quickly wiped it away. I sat on the grass and slowly began to eat the cupcake.

"The best birthday party in my life" I laughed through tears.

I lost count of time. I didn't know how long I was sitting on the bank of the river, but I only knew that it was getting colder and colder. On the other hand I didn't care if I would die of cancer or freeze by the river.

After a few minutes, I pulled my cell phone out of my coat pocket and looked at the screen.

"Seventeen missed calls," I whispered. All in all, I didn't care. When I wanted to hide it, the phone called. With a sigh, I picked up without looking at the screen.

"Yes?" I said quietly, wiping tears from my eyes.

"Alice, where are you?" I heard the FP's nervous voice. "Tell me"

"You're at work, why do you need to know where I am?" I asked and shrugged.

"I need to know, Alice." His voice was close to flouting."Now!"

"I am just at my best birthday party, unfortunately I have no vacancies, so I won't invite you"

"Alice, stop fooling around, it's getting cold and dark, where the hell are you?"

"Find me, Sherlock," I answered and disconnected.

After a few minutes I got up, dusted off my coat and went to the car. I looked up and saw FP in front of me.

"You are stupid," he said and walked towards me.

"I'm reasonable," I shrugged and I didn't have time to say anything because FP kissed me on the lips.

"No, you are unreasonable," he whispered as we moved away from each other. "Honey, I was worried about you," he added, and tears appeared in his eyes.

"Nevermind, you could at least give me birthday wishes," I said and passed him by. I went to the car.

"I will give you birthday wishes, but not here" FP grabbed my arm and led me towards the car. "Get in," he added and helped me enter the passenger seat. He sat on the driver's seat.

"Where?" I asked, surprised.

"You will see"

"Wait. How did you get here?"

"Fred helped me" He smirked.

"Why did you take me to Whyte Wyrm?" I asked when I left the car.

"Come on, don't talk," he took my hand and we went inside.

The lights were off, the room was quiet and calm. I was more and more annoyed.

"Really, FP? You know that I ..." I didn't finish my speech because the lights turned on.

I was shocked. All my relatives were here, there was a big cake, birthday decorations. Everyone shouted all the best, and confetti was everywhere.

"What ..." I whispered only, and tears appeared in my eyes.

"Surprise" muttered FP and kissed me on the cheek.

"You guys were busy," I pointed to Hermione, Fred and Betty.

"It was a surprise party, we wanted to surprise you, mom" Betty came up to me and hugged me. "Happy Birthday"

"Thank you" I whispered softly and I cried.

I greeted everyone, picked up the presents and drank champagne. I talked with my parents, made drink for Hermione and talked with Fred.

When the music started playing in the speakers, people started dancing, FP pulled me outside.

"I didn't want to tell you this before, but today I received information that I am officially free," he said and grabbed my hands. I opened my eyes widely.

"Really?!" I said with joy and embraced him. "I'm happy" I whispered and kissed him on the cheek.

"And that's why I want to ask you something," he said and moved away slightly from me.

"FP?" I asked, shocked.

"Alice Smith..." He knelt in front of me and pulled square box from his pocket. "You are my one and only love, I love you since high school and I don't care if you have this cancer or not, for me you are beautiful and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Would you do me an honor and become my wife?" He opened a box and I saw a diamond ring.
