Spirits didn't sleep. At night when everyone was fast asleep, they roamed.
Meaning sleep was not an option for Valentina who was bored out of her mind.
She was also outraged beyond a point of return.
One minute he was willing to go along with her, and then the next second he was... simply impossible.
She considered breaking more objects in his room but was wary about the other people hearing the ruckus.
To add salt to injury, the meathead had cleared his desk, meaning no snooping for her.
In conclusion, she was excruciatingly bored. And so she did the impossible.
Valentina, a spirit, fell asleep.
And impossible more, she had a dream.
Valentina had finally cozied up in the huge bath tub she had chosen to hide in.
That's when the peer of sleep swept her under its clutches.
She was a child again, playing with Aaron at North point.
They were playing hide and seek in Cornelius' study. The hard bear of a man had finally crumbled his resolve after hours of pleading from his youngest son and his best friend.
'Break anything and I'll have Valentina whipped.' He added before he left them.
At the time they thought he would do it.
But when Aaron shoved her into an ancient sculpture, it came crashing down.
The dream fast forward to the two young ones hiding in Aaron's mother's garden.
They could hear their names being called but they chose not to reply. Once they went to search else where, Aaron and herself would make a break for it. They had it all figured out, they'd live together in the woods. She knew enough magic and he would grow into a much larger wolf.
Sadly, they barely made it to the edge of the woods when they were caught by the werewolves under the Lynch's command.
Their punishment had been a fierce talking to and Cornelius spinning the two children about.
The room was filled with their laughter and giggles.
How she missed those days.
The next dream however was strange.
Her body felt heavy and very foreign. The entire room was dark, and then she opened her eyes.
However the lightning wasn't much better. She swing her weighty legs to the side and made contact with a stone cold slab.
Slowly her eyes adjusted to the room she found herself in.
There was no indication to disclose where she was in her dream. Everything was cold and a tad wet.
When her feet hit the floor they nearly buckled at the unfamiliar weight of her. Fortunately, the padded slab she woken from broke her fall.
She waited a moment before trying to walk once again.
To her utter dismay, there were no obvious windows or noticeable doors. Yet, she was breathing, that meant there had to be oxygen coming from somewhere.
It wasn't an easy task trying to find anything in the poorly lit room.
Her fingers felt for any odd draft in the walls.
Her fingers landed on a small and barely noticeable airy line.
Whoever had designed this room, certainly didn't want anyone escaping.
The door was a huge rock and wouldn't budge at her weak attempts.
Valentina was trapped with absolutely no way out.
Her first dream in almost a century and it was a nightmare!
She considered screaming for help but her pounding headache wouldn't allow her. Plus that wouldn't be a smart move. Of this was truly a nightmare, only bad things would come out from behind the door.
She painfully returned to the cushioned altar built in the middle of the small room.
That was what she had been sleeping on.
Whoever brought her there must have wanted to sacrifice her.
