~Aarmau 45~

Phoenix Drop high is known primarily for its diverse range of students. From mefwa, witches, warlocks, to werewolves all were accepted at Phoenix Drop. The most famous and well known group of students would be the werewolf pack. This was primarily due to their alpha, Aphmau Lorde, who made it her personal goal to show the city that werewolves were not as bad as they were made out to be. Her pack followed her loyally and treated her like a queen. However, no queen is complete without a king, and Aphmau knew she wouldn't last much longer as the alpha without a mate.. She had narrowed her choices down to three potential mates. Ein, Blaze and Aaron were her final choices, but she wanted to get to know each one more personally before she made her final choice. After thinking it over for three nights, she final decided to start with Blaze. Blaze was one of her best friends, so she figured she knew him pretty well.. During lunch she made her way over to him.
"Hey Blaze!" She smiles and sits next to him.
"Yo dude, I mean Alpha Aphmau! What's up?" He laughs awkwardly.
"Not much, I have a few questions for you." Aph says, her tone now more serious.
"Alright what are they bro?" Blaze looks at her slightly confused.
"If I were to choose you for my mate, to rule beside me, how would you take that responsibility?" She looks up at him, her amber eyes pierced like daggers against his blue and green eyes.
"M-me? As your mate? Aphmau I'd be honored.. But you know how I am.. I'm not that good at being a political leader... I'm a fighter. I protect you with my life now Alpha.." he said blushing before correcting himself "I would be honored if you chose me, that's what I meant bro!" He laughs.
Aph smiles at his enthusiasm, "I'm sure if I chose you, you'd be a great ruler!" She states.
"You really think so?" Blaze asked, looking down at his small alpha leader. Aph nods, smiling .
"Of course. Now I have to go talk to the other candidates. Behave Blaze." She says standing up. He laughs as she walks out of the cafeteria towards where Ein hung out at..
All the other Werewolves bowed their heads in respect when the Alpha passed or approached them, not Ein. He didn't see how it was respectful to bow for the leader. Aphmau walked up to him and waits for him to notice her. He chattered away his group, until she cleared her throat demanding his attention.
"Ein." She says sternly looking up at him.
"Aphmau..." he says casually before realizing who he was talking too.
"Alpha!" He snaps looking down at her.
"That's better." Aph says as his group dispersed away from them.
"How may I be of service." He asked as he placed his hands on her hips. She ignores his advances and gets to her point.
"I'll get straight to my point then." She clears her throat again. "How would you use the power bestowed upon you if I chose you to be my mate."
"So you've come to your senses Aphmau darling." He teased her, caressing her cheek. "You chose me, a smart choice."
"Hands off Ein, and answer my question!" She barked the order at him and he laughs, obeying her command.
"If you choose me, I'd rule with you with an iron fist!" He laughs maniacally.
"That's all I needed to hear." She growls and turns to walk away. He grabs her hand and pulls her to him.
"I can't wait to rule beside you, my queen." He whispers into her ear.
"Let go of me, Ein." She growls pushing away from him, but his grip on her wrist didnt break.
"What's wrong my qu--" Ein started before someone pushed him away from her, causing Aph to fall to the floor
"When the Alpha commands you to do something you obey." It was Aaron, he had pushed away Ein and was now helping up Aph.
"You..." Ein growls as he cracked his knuckles.
"Me." Aaron laughed as he pushed Aph behind him.
"Step away from my queen." Ein orders and takes another step forward.
"She obviously hasn't chosen yet. Otherwise I'd be compelled to obey you. You have no clue how the mating of power works, do you Ein?" Aaron asks. Aph looks past him.
"Aaron, move. I can handle my own battles!" She growls but Aaron doesn't move.
"Obey the alpha, Aaron." Ein growls as his claws come out. "We wouldn't want you to get hurt."
"You can't hurt me Ein, you're a beta male." Aaron states plainly. Ein growls and slashed across Aaron's chest, leaving a bleeding gash and a tear in his shirt.
"You shouldn't have done that." Aaron growls and kicks Ein in the chest, sending him flying backwards into the wall. Aphmau grabs his arm.
"Aaron you're hurt. Go to the nurse now! I'll deal with the beta male." She ordered but still Aaron refused to move. Ein stood and shook off his pain.
"Dang it Aaron..." He growls.
"Stay down Ein..." Aaron sighs, readying for another attack.. Ein jumps forward and tries to slash at Aaron again. Aaron punches him in the face, knocking him unconscious. Aphmau pushed in front of Aaron.
"Go to the nurse now, Aaron." She orders. He bows and kisses her hand.
"As you wish, Alpha." He walked away as Aphmau blushed and whispered to herself..
"He's the one..."
Later that day, after Ein had been arrested for an unprovoked attack on a student and school was over, Aphmau found her way back towards Aaron. Aaron was standing next to the flag pole, bandages wrapped across his chest underneath his red hoodie. Aph approached him and clears her throat.. He looked down at her.
"Alpha." He smiles down at her.
"Aaron Lycan, do you swear to serve your school and your mate, to protect your mate.. To protect me..?" She looked up at him with a stern confidant smile on her face. Aaron looks at her surprised, but he bends down to her level and kisses her, and she kisses back.
"I do." He states firmly, and kisses her once more..

Gamer's A/N : I would like to apologize for the delay on this part of the book.. We were on a break (Ross and Rachel) (christmas break) and I didn't feel like writing. It took a while for me to get back into it, but I hope this part was worth the wait.
