The Warblers fell silent as their captains walked in, clearly having been talking about them.

"You two are almost late," one of them pointed out.

"But we aren't," Sebastian said. "We've won Sectionals," there was a cheer at that, "and now we need to win Regionals."

"Your voice would sound great on Live While We're Young," someone said.

Everyone immediately looked around, trying to figure out who had said it, and Sebastian scoffed. "We're not singing a song by prissy British boys about one night stands."

"Why, do they need to be topping French boys?" someone teased.

"That's also not me." There was a silence, and Sebastian rolled his eyes. "I'm French-American. Duel citizenship."

There was a chorus of 'oh's as they understood what he meant.

"But seriously, not singing it."

"Come on, why not?" Jeff asked. "It'd be fun."

"I..." Sebastian paused. "It's just not going to happen."

"Well, both of our captains should be featured. The easiest way to do that is a duet."

"Remember last time the Warblers did a duet? Candles? We lost because it was 'too gay,'" Sebastian said.

"Actually, we lost because Kurt and Blaine couldn't stop having eye sex the whole time," Nick corrected. "It wouldn't be gay if it was an upbeat song."

"Yeah, and who sings a breakup song for their first duet?" Jeff asked. "It's, like, bad luck."

"The judges would not go for it."

Nate laughed. "Geez, you'd think a couple would jump at the opportunity to sing a duet."

"We want what's best for the team," Hunter said, trying to help Sebastian. He only got a dirty look, as if Sebastian was telling him to just let him handle it on his own.

"What's wrong with you two?" Jeff asked. "Anyone would think you hate each other right now."

"None of your fucking business, blondie," Sebastian snapped.

Jeff laughed, putting his hands up in mock-surrender. "Seriously, though. What's wrong?"

"You're going to bug us until we tell you, aren't you?" Hunter asked. Jeff smiled innocently and he sighed. "Meeting dismissed. Think of some songs; auditions in four weeks."

Sebastian packed up his things fast as he could, but Hunter was over to him while everyone was leaving. "Sebastian, can I talk to you?"

Sebastian turned to him, and Hunter was finally close enough to see the shine in his eyes. "What is there to talk about?"

"I did not mean that. I had just tried to imagine your moan before, and I realized why I couldn't."

"You think I'm proud of it? You laughed at me, Hunter."

"Sebastian, I wasn't laughing at you. I was laughing at myself for being so off. And I think it's cute," Hunter admitted.

"Cute?" he repeated, clearly not believing it.

"Yeah. I mean, think about it. Anyone can moan, they all pretty much sound the same." Hunter smiled. "But not you. That's my little Sebastian noise."

Sebastian laughed. "Sebastian noise?"

"Nobody else here knows about it. I'm the only one privileged enough to have heard it."
