Good news, Sebastian wasn't having a stroke.

Bad news, he had damaged his femoral nerve. The largest, most important nerve in his leg.

Hunter was extremely worried and careful about what he said, knowing how bad Sebastian felt.

Luckily it hadn't caused any internal bleeding and he didn't need surgery. It was supposed to heal on it's own, but if it didn't he was supposed to go back to a doctor.

Until then, he had crutches to keep from aggravating it while it healed.

"You scared me so much there," Hunter said as he drove them back to Dalton.

Sebastian smiled sheepishly. "I scared myself, too. Like, I tried to get up, and I realized I couldn't feel my leg. I knew you were in a meeting, but I didn't know what else to do."

Hunter laughed. "I just realized, I never said where I was going. I just left the meeting."

"Well, they did hear you ask me if I thought I was having a stroke," Sebastian pointed out.

"Yeah, I forgot that they could hear me. What are you going to do about lacrosse?"

"Not play, I guess. I never really liked lacrosse, I just kinda felt obligated to play since I became captain."

When they got to Dalton, Hunter helped Sebastian out of the car. Sebastian already had experience with crutches, maneuvering on them like a pro.

The first person they ran into, of course, was on the lacrosse team.

"Oh my god, Sebastian, are you okay?"

Sebastian shrugged to the best of his ability. "I will be. Tell couch I'm off the team for me, will you?"

He looked worried. "You mean while you heal, right?"

"No. For good."

He continued down the hall, leaving the boy in shock. Hunter chuckled. "That was rather dramatic."

"You know I live for drama," he said sarcastically.

They managed to make it to their dorm without running into too many people.

When the bell for dinner rang, Hunter bit his lip, looking over at Sebastian. Sebastian wasn't even looking at him but seemed to feel his gaze. "Don't even think about it. I can go down to the dining hall."

"You're sure?" Hunter asked worriedly.

"One hundred percent. Besides, you'll be there with me."

Hunter nodded, helping Sebastian up off his bed. They headed down to the dining hall, Sebastian catching quite a few eyes. He tucked his crutches under the bench at the table.

"Sebastian, what happened? You didn't...?"

Sebastian chuckled at Thad's expression. "I did not have a stroke, no. I asked because I couldn't feel my leg and panicked."

"Well, what did happen? When Hunter said you weren't at the meeting to do injury, I don't think any of us thought it was this bad," David pointed out.

"I injured some nerve that I can't pronounce in my leg, but it's supposed to heal on it's own. While it heals and while I can't feel it, I get crutches. Thrilling," he said dryly.

Jeff frowned. "Wait, what are you going to do about lacrosse?"

Sebastian shrugged. "Not going to play. If I was anything of a captain, they can do it without me."

When they were back in their dorm after dinner, Sebastian realized something.

"Wait... How am I supposed to take a shower when I can't feel my leg?" he asked aloud.

Hunter frowned. "Shit, I didn't think about that. There isn't really anything to steady yourself on, and it's easy enough to fall with the use of two legs."

They were quiet for a minute.

The thought seemed to hit them both at the same moment, turning to look at each other.

"You are not allowed to make this sexual," Sebastian warned, blushing.

Hunter chuckled. "Deal."
