Being locked in a room wasn't Emma's plan to spend her afterlife. She was planning on playing with her best friends, and queen and princess of the ghost realm, Marilynn and Andrea. At least that's what the voices were telling her. And while most people would be freaked out if they heard voices in her head, for the most part Emma was comforted. They told her not to panic when Marilynn locked her in this room. The majority told her that Marilynn will let her out, and allow her to think properly again. One, however, was telling her to destroy Marilynn and take the crown for herself. She didn't listen to that one. That voice scarred her. It was dark and filled with malice. Emma didn't like it.
"Why are you ignoring me?" Emma screamed suddenly, speaking in the darkest voice in her head.
"Because you have horrible ideas! I am not hurting my friends," Emma murmured back.
"But the crown," She whined.
"It's not yours," Emma snapped. The door opened after she had that little argument with herself. Marilynn entered.
"Hey Emma," Marilynn said timidly. Emma noticed how the queen kept glancing around the room. Sighing, Marilynn continued, "I have a task for you."
"For me?" Emma asked shocked. She didn't think anyone trusted her since the voices came.
"Yes, for you," Marilynn's eyes landed on Emma. "And only you can do it."
"What is this task?"
"You need to find the darkest demon known to exist. If you destroy it then you get to spend more time out of this room," Marilynn sounded so tempting, yet that dark malice filled voice was screaming not to. Emma nodded.
"When do I start?"
