Andrew and Memory were seated listing to Gemina explain that Marilynn had shortened their stay in the living realm. They were leaving that day. Andrew was somewhat disappointed that they were leaving, he would miss spending time helping their elderly neighbor, and hearing Celestia's stories. Yet, the stories were just beginning.
"So be prepared," Gemina finished her speech that Andrew paid little to no attention to. Gemina walked upstairs once she finished. Andrew glanced at Memory. She tilted her head and stared at him.
"Shortened version?" he asked. Memory grinned.
"We're leaving today. Oh, god, we're leaving today! I have to look perfect for Emma!" Memory shouted as she ran up the stairs.
"You know she doesn't care about your looks, right?" Andrew screamed after her.
2.
Memory was messing around with her hair. She knew Andrew was right, Emma doesn't care about how Memory looked, but Memory was going to confess her feelings. She wanted to look good for that.
"Memory, finish packing your stuff and come down!" Gemina called. Memory's eyes widened. She started rushing around her room, throwing books and posters into boxes. Clothes into bags. CDs into whatever had room for them in it. "Memory!" Gemina screamed again.
"I'm coming! I'm coming!" Memory yelled as she slid down the railing of the stairs. Andrew glarred.
"I always wanted to do that," he whined. Gemina rolled her eyes while Memory stuck her tongue out at him.
"Alright, if you two are done being childish, our way back should be here any minute," Gemina said. As soon as the words left her mouth, the doorbell rang. Standing there was Annalise, grinning. The angelic trio tilted their heads.
"Guess who was made ambassador of the ghosts," Annalise's grin got wider. She resembled the cheshire cat.
3.
Emma was confused when Marilynn summoned her to the throne room. Andrea greeted her with a giant smile.
"You're gonna like this news," Andrea said. Emma tilted her head and entered the room.
"Marilynn!" Emma screamed. Marilynn looked up from the paper she was reading.
"Emma!" Marilynn yelled back. "We're bringing Memory, Gemina, and Andrew back today," Marilynn said casually. Emma shrieked. Marilynn winced. "But first you need to get Annalise. I need to speak with her." Emma nodded and rushed off.
*
Emma was in front of the famous cave of the guardian, Annalise. Said guardian was staring at the ghost in shock.
"Emma?" Annalise asked. "What are you doing here? Not that I mind, but you rarely come to visit."
Emma nodded, "Marilynn wanted to speak with you."
"Why?" Annalise asked. Emma shrugged. "Lovely," Annalise said with an eye roll.
*
"Ah, good, Annalise," Marilynn stated when the ghost and guardian walked in. "Emma do you mind leaving us for a second." Emma nodded as she walked out.
"Why do you wish to speak with me, old friend?" Annalise asked.
"I have a proposition for you," Marilynn said. Annalise tilted her head. "I wish for you to become my ambassador since most people can't see us ghosts."
"What will you do when I eventually die?" Annalise asked. "I can't exactly be ambassador if I myself am a ghost."
"If you accept you will become immortal. You will never die," Marilynn explained. Annalise grinned.
"I accept."
Marilynn smiled, "Perfect. Your first assignment is to retrieve the angelic trio from the living realm. We must reunite Mema," Marilynn said.
"Mema?" Annalise asked in confusion. Marilynn nodded her head towards the door where Emma was most likely listening in on the conversation. Annalise laughed. She had a feeling the two lovebirds never stopped seeing each other. Or trying to at least.
"You bet," Annalise agreed. "I'll get them right away."
*
Annalise found her way to the angelic house just fine. Her memory never once wavered from how they got there on Christmas. Plus, Emma was telepathically giving her directions. Approaching the door, Annalise became nervous. What would she say? She barely knew the angels, so what could she say? That the queen ordered them back to the ghost realm? Annalise figured that could work. It could also give whatever angel who answered the door a heart attack. Taking a deep breath, Annalise rang the doorbell. All three angels opened the door. "Guess who was made Ambassador of ghosts," Annalise said. The grin she wasn't aware she was wearing got wider.
"I'm guessing you," Andrew replied. Annalise laughed.
"Yes, indeed. Are you ready to go?" Gemina nodded. The trio walked outside their house. The quartet of three angels and the ambassador of ghosts walked down the road. Back to the realm of ghosts, angels, and demons.
4.
"Emma!" Memory yelled upon seeing the ghost girl after getting her wings back.
"Memory!" Emma screamed back. She was running at the angel full force, and crashed into a hug. "I missed you so much," Emma whispered. Memory laughed.
"But you wrote to me like every day," Memory replied.
"Still," Emma pouted.
"Alright lovebirds, Marilynn said you two could live together if you want," Andrew said as he walked up. The two girls stared into each other eyes.
"We're never leaving each other again," the angel and ghost said in unison. Except for one week a few months afterwards where Memory had to help Gemina, and the rest of the angels out of a tough spot.
