Trouble

I looked around to make sure no one was watching me and started getting ready. I walked down the stairs cases to the front door. I got into my car and rode to school.
I got to school to find no one was here yet, great no ones here I looked around and found the path to the garden. I got my book out and started to read Ally great adventure. I turned around and heard little clicking I got my purse out and clicked the button. My purse turns into a little sword. Click, click, click the sound got closer and I got ready.
"Don't attack me Ruby it's just me" her voice got me to calm down it was Jessica her short brown hair gave it away. I put my sword away and put my purse in my bag again.
"Someone is tense" she said
"I'm not tense I'm just...being prepared for the worst"I defended myself she rolled her green eyes and and sat next to me.
"So...why the sword? Why not the scythe"
"I didn't know who it was and I didn't want people to think I'm crazy" I said  she gave me the look saying
"You are crazy"
"We need to head to class Ms. Peterson will wonder where we are for first flight." I said she nodded and we take off.
We got to lunch and we went outside the first person we see is Blake her blonde hair and brown eyes make her stand out the most and her freckles.
"So what do you guys want to do?" She asked in her British accent I shrugged my shoulders
"We could always" She begin to say and then stopped I know where she was getting at.
"Maybe but it's only lunch time we could do it after school" I suggested they both agree and started eating our lunches.
After school we went to my house. I didn't know if my parents were home but I guess they were. The guards let us in and then James came and welcomed us in
"Welcome miss Jessica, miss Blake, and miss Ruby" he said
"Hello" we all said and headed to my bedroom but before we did I saw my mother in the ball room with a bunch of other people probably asking for details about the party. Her gown was pretty today it was purple with a few sparkles on it. And of course her crown was always on but when we were alone she loved taking off everything and putting on normal clothes. She catch me looking at her and nodded to go upstairs we take off and headed to my bedroom. The hallways were decorated in Christmas things and then there was the family painting me, father, and mother. The time that has past and the things that have happen between that time. We got into my bedroom and went to my bed. My blue blankets match my curtains. My white dresser and other furniture match as well.
"Ruby your room seems...bigger" Blake said
"Yes it's bigger we clear some stuff out and replace it with some furniture like that couch and piano." I said and pointed to the she nodded. After awhile I heard a knock at the door
"Come in" I said and then I saw Mary and Lexi my maids but I like to call them my friends.
"Hello Miss" they said unison as they slightly bow
"Hello nice to see you ladies" I said back
"We're here to measure and make you a dress" Mary said
"Okay" I said and stood up they measure, picked fabrics, makeup, shoes, and other things. They spent two hours and finally left. Blake and Jessica went to and then I'm all alone again.
"Dinner Miss Ruby" Mary said I went down stairs again with my dinner dress on. My blue dress went with my white bow around my waist, and my hair was in a half bun and then went wavy. I saw my mother and father at the dining table.
"Hello mother and father how was your day?" I asked
"Interesting how 'bout yours?" My mother asked
"Good" I said my mother and father looked at each other and then back at me.
"Sweetie we wanted to talk to you about a...husband your getting to the age of becoming future queen. So we wanted to know if you wanted to do something to find your...future husband." I almost spit out my food
"What? I'm only eighteen what am I suppose to do asks boys to be my husband when most of them don't know I'm a princess." I said
"I know I know it's we need to find a way to find the future king and your future husband." She said my father shrugged his shoulders and looked to my mother.
"What do you think we should do? A group of boys and just pick one of them?" I asked my mother made her maybe face.
"Your joking aren't you?" I asked
"I'm afraid not Ruby we need to find you a husband and that is about our best choice right now." My father said I didn't believe it
"Excuse me but I'm going to my bedroom good night" I said and walked off. A stupid pick one boy and hope to god he's the one what god damn crap is that? Why do I have to find a king now? Can't I rule the castle by myself?
"Ouch" I said I looked up and realized that I ran into a guard
"Sorry sir-" I said
"Lucas" he said
"Sir Lucas mm well I'm so sorry for running into you" I said
"It's alright i should be apologizing. Miss Ruby where are you going?"
"Oh I'm going to my room excuse me" I said and started walking to my room again. I sigh in relief to know I have made it to my safe place. I got change and went to bed maybe they will change their minds hopefully.
