Fighting

"Ruby who do you think your going to pick?" Blake and Jessica asked
"I think don't get mad or worried but I think I'm going to pick Axel." I said they both looked so excited for me.
"What about we talk with him and things like relationship things." Blake said she grinned as she said the ending and then Jessica understood what she meant.
"Guys please don't talk to him about that! He going to be so embarrassed and wondering what's going on." I said
"Ruby we need to talk to him about you if he try's to hurt you we are going to kill him." Jessica said with a serious glare.
"Come on let's go! James keep her in here please and thank you!" They ran out of the room and started to his room.
"Princess Ruby May I say we could dance or sing?" He suggested I slipped under his arm and started running to Axel room. Dang! These high heels are horrible and this dress! What's the point in wearing a dress? I finally made it to Axel room and knocked there was no answer. I opened the door and found no one in there. Shit, shit! Where are they? The ballroom, downstairs, upstairs, outside...outside! I started running to the garden.
"Miss Ruby do you need something?" A guard asked
"Lucas! Lucas I need your help did you see a girl with a white dress or a girl with a orange dress?" I asked
"Yes I believe ether went outside with Mister Axel. Is there something wrong?" He asked
"Thank you, Thank you and no nothing wrong I just have to find them." I said and ran outside I got there and try to look for anyone. I ran all over the place the trees, bushes, and the grass walls. I finally spotted a guy with a suit on.
"Axel! Axel" I yelled at him he turned around with a cherry red face mouthing help me. I ran to his Sid wand found Blake and Jessica questioning him.
"You haven't answered yet have or haven't you thought about having it with her?" Jessica pointed to me and I felt my face turn red.
"Jessica! Axel I'm so sorry for this." I said
"Um... no I haven't thought about it, no I haven't had a actual girlfriend, and yes I have a older brother." He said
"Wait you have a older brother?!" I said
"Yes he's thirty two with three kids." Three kids! That's a lot for a thirty two year old.
"Yell there goes my chance." Blake said sighing I rolled my eyes at her and grabbed Axel hand.
"Run!" I said we started running and the girls chased us I pulled Axel to a blocked area where they couldn't find us. I tripped and dragged Axel with me he landed on top of me.
"So sorry Ruby!" He said and jumped up I turned red and so did he.
"There you are!" Blake said
"Ruby come on let's just ask him some questions!" Jessica said
"Ruby I'll be fine go inside." He said I looked like I just loss but I obey. I watch the clock tick by tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. I finally saw them walking in and ran downstairs.
"What did they do? Did they hurt you? Ask you weird questions?" I asked he put his arm around me and started walking up the stairs once again. Blake and Jessica wen home afterwards and Axel didn't talk much after that.
"No they didn't hurt me or anything like that they just asked me a couple of questions...about us and what the future could be like."
"Oh okay" w walked in silence until we got to his room.
"Um...I wanted to know if you wanted to eat dinner sometime?" I asked
"Sure but what about we do something...fun right now?" He gave me a grin and lead me in.

I asked my maids to bring mine and Axel dinner to my room. They of course asked me why but I didn't answer so I guess they got that I wanted to be alone with Axel. Before I went to my bedroom I saw my mom walking towards me.
"Mom" I went and hugged her and she did the same
"What have you been doing? I haven't seen you for some nights."
"Well your father was busy and he needed my help so I been stuck with him for sometime now. And your father since you got rid of Marcus the other night he wants to hangout with the boys since there is only six left." We continue with our conversation until I realize that I was going to be late.
"Mom I have to go I promise Axe that I would have dinner with him tonight." I said she hugged me, kiss me on my forehead, and headed downstairs. I walked to my bedroom to see that Axel was standing right there.
"Well hello there" I said and gave him a slight kiss
"Let's Have our dinner now." He gave me his arm and walked in together.
"So what do you want to talk about tonight?" I asked he thought for a second
"What about we talk about when the selection going to be over?"
"Okay...will I want to keep it going for a reasonable time that way I know that your the one." I said
"What do you mean if I'm the one?"
"I mean I don't want to choose you and we end up fighting all the time." I said
"But we don't fight but your making us fight right now." He said anger
"What do you mean by I'm causing us to fight right now I'm just trying to be honest with you right now."
"Well it sounds like you might like someone else and your just leading me on... so typical of a royal."
"What do you mean so typical? I like you a lot and your saying this is typical of a royal. I never asked to be a princess! My family came from royalty! I would like to get to play outside!, hangout with my friends!, and get to choose what I can be instead I have to be a queen." I said I felt tears running down my face as I finish.
"You don't know what real life is your surround by people who don't have to worry over that stuff! While I have to see my love ones and friends get hurt! And I don't like wearing suits, ties, and fancy shoes! I want to wear jeans, tennis shoes, and t shirts for once!" He said he was walking to the door and slammed it shut. I fell down and started to cry I sobbed for what felt like hours until my maids came in. They asked what happen but so cried on Lexi shoulder after awhile they got me ready for bed and put the dishes in the kitchen I cried a little more.

"So Princess Ruby It has been five months you have only have four left Luke, Axel, Stefan, and Brandon. So how much longer until we meet this future king!"  A news reported dropped by to ask me questions like every month.
"Well that's hard to say I like them all equal and they are all very nice. So I'll have to get back to that question later on." I said the questions kept coming and as I answer I wonder who I would pick after Axel and I fought we haven't spoken in two days. So I have spent my time with the other boys. I like Luke he's nice, sweet, and thoughtful. Stefan was funny, calm, and flirty. Brandon was quiet, sweet, and a little weird sometimes. I promise to hangout with Luke after the newsmen left for the day. My maids fitted me in a new dress for my date with Luke. The red match the rose, and high heels, but the thing I didn't like was the slit that ran to thigh. This time I pin my hair into a braided bun. I walked to the ballroom to meet Luke when I saw Axel looking out a window his eyes shifted my way but I kept walking I didn't want to talk to him right now. I found Luke in a black suit with a dark red tie. I swore I saw a wow on his face.
"You look as beautiful as ever I don't know if you would be as so kind to have a dance with me?" He asked extending his hand out.
"I would love-" before I could finish a gun shot ranged out in the room.
"Princess Ruby run!!" A guard yelled I ran towards the guard and he ran the way to the safe room. I kept hearing gun shots as we headed to the safe room I heard a shot right behind me. I turned and saw a boy stabbed in his side. I scream in fear but I kept running I found my mother and father in the room I ran to them they embraced me with a hug.
"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" My father asked
"Yes I'm okay and no they didn't hurt me is everyone okay?" I asked I looked around the room and I saw Brandon over in the conner bleeding. I looked for Axel I couldn't find him anywhere.
"Where's Axel?" I asked a guard and he didn't know.
"Get a doctor to Brandon and I'm going to find Axel!" I said and ran out to the room my dress ripped at the end but I didn't care I ripped it until it was to my knees. I ran upstairs and didn't find him and then the next one. I saw a room open so I ran to that one.
"Axel!" I yelled I saw someone stand up from behind a chair.
"I'm here!" He talked and ran over I hugged him and told him what was happening.
"Ya I saw a few people that didn't look like they belong here. We got to take you to a safe place!" He yelled he picked me up and ran. I wanted him to put me down but I figure that this would be easier. We got to the door and open it he finally put me down. The fighting didn't stop until two in the morning the guards won and the people who attack were locked up or dead. My father order everyone to go to their rooms and get some rest.
"Ruby I want guard at your room and beside you at all times no questions or but's." He said
"Yes father" I said and went to my bedroom I couldn't sleep so I read my book. My maids came to my rom every once in awhile to check on me. I finally decided that I needed to rest after what happen so I asked Mary and Lexi to stay with me. I was able to calm myself down and after awhile fell asleep.
