Growing feelings

"Tell me all about it Ruby are they hot, cool, weird?" Jessica came over to ask how the few weeks have been.
"They are nice I already got rid of seven of them they were what you would say cocky." I said she laughed a little bit at that we were taking a walk around the castle seen it was Saturday everyone was free to explore. Jessica made sure to wear a nice dress that didn't stand out to much. The red dress was pretty with her sliver bow.
"So have a little crush, crush yet?" She asked rubbing against me.
"No! No! Why would you ask that? I mean I like them all they are nice, sweet, but some can be to flirty sometimes." I said
"Your turning red so you must like one of them!" She was going to explode
"Hello ladies" I turned to see that Landon was there walking to us he gave a little bow.
"Hello to you good sir I'm Princess Jessica and you by be?" She asked
"Landon Micheals prince to the Micheals family" he said giving her hand a kiss.
"May I walk with you two? You seem to have too much fun so I must see what is so funny." He said sweetly
"We would love to have you join us" Jessica said they did most of the talking while I was lost in thought. They seem so a like in many ways and he was good looking with his dark blonde hair and ice blue eyes. I could tell Jessica liked this one she hasn't talked to guys since she was little. I grabbed Jessica by the dress to get her attention.
"Jessica do you...like him?" I asked she turned red a little bit
"A... a little bit he's nice, sweet, and caring like you said do you mine if I...stole him away from the selection?" She asked I was so excited about that she wanted to have a chance with someone and they only been talking for a hour.
"Jessica go for it! I didn't know who I was going to pick to go home but you made it easy." I said she hugged me with all her might
"Thank you" She said she walked back to Landon and took him by the arm this time he seemed to like that. I walked backwards until I knew they couldn't see me I wanted to leave them alone. I was walking to my room when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Oh! Joshua you scared me!" I said
"Oh sorry I didn't mean to I just saw you alone and I wanted to know if you wanted to hangout?" He asked
"Oh um...sure let's hang-" I didn't get to finish my sentence because my maid came walking to me.
"So, so sorry Miss Ruby I wanted to let you know Miss Blake was here for her study section." Lexi said
"Thank you so much for telling me...um Joshua would you like to come?" I turned back to see him nod his head
"Okay" He said
We walked down the stair cases Blake was by the door. She wore her glasses when she was nervous or trying to think.
"Ruby! I'm so sorry to come on short notice I need to talk to yo-" she stopped and notice that Joshua was behind me.
"I'm so sorry to be so rude I'm Blake princess of the Addington family." She did a curtsy and he bowed
"Blake what can I help you with?" I asked
"You clearly already Damon and Nick well they were yours to tutor now I have to tutor them!" She was going to go mad with that attitude.
"Okay let me teach you what you need to learn about both of them and Joshua do you still want to hang out or we can do this later?" I asked
"We can do this later Princess Ruby" he gave a bow and walked off. I continue to talk to Blake and gave her instructions about what and what not to do she kinda understand but asked questions that I already answer.
"So when Damon ask for my help in music you want me to play it on the piano and then let him copy?"
"Yes and remember to take away Nick's cards when you are helping him with math." I said
"Okay thank you Ruby your a life saver" she hugged me and we started to walk to the ball room.
"Do you want to practice our dancing?" I asked she smiled in return we ran to the middle of the dance floor and started the music.
"May I have this dance Princess?" I asked as I bow
"You May have this dance if I have your next dance?"
"Yes You May" I grabbed her hand and put my other on her waist as she did the same. We dance to the next, then the next, and then the rest of them.
We both went to a table and sat down we were both tried from all the dancing we did. I turned to get my water I saw a figure at the door way.
"Hello?" I asked the figure walked I and I realize that it was Axel.
"Sorry to interrupt I just heard the music from the hallway."
"I'm sorry we were just dancing I didn't mean to disturb you." I said apologizing
"No it's fine I was just wondering if I could have a dance?" He stuck his hand out to me.
"Of course you can Henry can you start the music once again?" I asked
"We can do my lady" he said and started playing music he put his hands on my waist and I put my hands around his neck. He pulled a little for some distance between I put my head against his chest. He tense and move a little uncomfortable I guess he wasn't use to this kind of...touch. I started humming the words to the song and I hear Axel do the same. He grabbed my hand and spin me around in circles until I got dizzy I slipped and was about to fall until a axel catch me at the last second. He pulled me to where are faces were just inches apart I felt my face turn red, heart pounding, palms sweating.
"Ruby when can I get a turn?" Blake asked she snap me back into real life, Axel let go of me his face was also red. I could feel my face turn redder by the minute.
"I'll be outside" I said I ran until I got to the garden I was ready to just lay down but my mind was still racing. I felt something in me wanting to run back there and kiss him, but the other half wanted to start running again.
"Ruby!" I saw Axel running to me I felt my feet move before I knew I was running away from Axel. I ran as fast I could apparently it wasn't fast enough he grabbed my shoulder and then the other one.
"What's wrong? Did I do something wr-" before he finish I grabbed his face and put my lips to his. He was shocked and I was to I couldn't help it anymore its has been three weeks and I wanted to do this. He put his arms around me and it felt tender and passionate like it was always meant to be. We did that for a long time until I finally pulled away. We should away for a moment and we didn't know what to say.
"Um Princess-"
"Ruby just Ruby"
"Ruby I'm sorry" he said
"For what? Me kissing you? I should be apologizing to you! I'm sorry I didn't mean to I just I like you a lot and I didn't know what to do. I got overwhelmed and I was stressed I didn't mean to." I said I was messing with my hair he wrapped his arms around me and just hugged me until I was calmed down.
"Pr- Ruby It's okay I like you your a amazing person and anyone you like is special to know someone like you likes them." I hugged him tighter no I had ever said something as sweet as that.
"So what does this mean for us?" He asked lookin down at me.
"I don't know? But I know that I want to get to know you better."
