Party

"Ruby you only have only seven more men in this selection. Stefan, Marcus, Brandon, Axel, Nicolas , Eric, and Luke. So do you have favorites?" This was the sixth interview these past few months.
"No I don't have favorites I like them all the same way they are like my friends in some way." I said
Once the interview was over I went into my bedroom to find Axel on the balcony. I quietly ran to him and put my arms around him.
"There's my princess" he turned around and kissed me with such tender that my knees weaken. I looked at his leafy green eyes and freckles.
"I love your freckles I wished I had a few freckles on my face."
"I love the way you look your blue eyes look lovely with your light skin." I blushed a little bit I still wasn't use to getting compliments.
"So I was thinking that I could throw a party for this Halloween what do you think?" I asked
"I think that sounds fun my sister would love that she always a cat or some other animal."
"What about...I could invite the families to come to the castle? I mean I will have to meet your family sooner then later since you may be the future king."
"Oh my don't say that, that makes me nervous, freak out, and scared-" before he could go on I kissed him this time to make him shut up. He moved his hands to my back and tickled me a little for moving them up and down my back. He carried me to my bed and sat me down. He looked at me with a serious glaze in his eyes.
"Ruby I think I'm...in love with you" He stared at me with his leafy eyes I melted no boy has ever told me he loves me.
"I...I love you to" I said I hugged him with all my might was this it? Would I pick Axel to me my husband? Would he be my king and me his queen?
We spent the rest of the time talking about the future, party, and other things.

It's been an week and the party was in two days! I still haven't decided on a outfit for it. I try getting Axel to match a little like me but he wouldn't tell me what he was going to be so I had no Idea what to wear and even if I did I would be questioning myself.
"Princess Ruby Have you decided on a costume for the party?" Lexi walked in and sat on the chair
"No not yet any ideas?" I asked
"Well what are some things that you want to be or think you would want to be?" I thought for a moment about things I like animals, books, music... that's it!
"I want to be a mysterious person!" I announced she looked confused like what in the world is that?
"I want to have a beautiful dress, boots or high heels, with a mask to cover my eyes." She nodded as I kept going on we finally decided on what it was going to look like. I was so excited to see how they were going to do.
"My lady are you ready?" Lexi had gotten the dress done for today.
"Ready as I'll ever be." I said she unzipped the bag and there was. The dress went to my knees but in the back it when to my feet, and it was sleeve less, and it was black with a glitter masked.
"It's beautiful! Aw you and Mary did amazing can I put it on? It's only three hours until the party!" She nodded as I grabbed the dress I ran to the bathroom. I came out with the dress on it was beautiful and the necklace I wore match my dress it was the heart necklace but the charm was on a choker this time.
"Miss you look wonderful I bet all the boys won't know what hit them." Lexi said we heard a knock at the door me and Lexi didn't know who it was. Lexi open the door and then shut it a little she mouthed Axel, Axel! I ran to the bathroom to hide.
"Is Ruby here? I wanted to talk to her" I put on my robe and take off the mask.
"Yes she in the bathroom she will, never mind here she is." She walked away and started cleaning she was listening because she usually turns red.
"I'm is there something you needed?" I asked
"Um...I was wondering if we could hangout but it looks like your busy." He said looking at my robe
"Ya apparently there is suppose to be family and I need to look nice so...ya sorry"
"It's fine I should probably be getting ready to...I'll talk to you at the party." He gave me a hug and walked off I sighed in relief and Lexi did to.

I got my hair fix into curls, makeup, and my shoes. I walked to the ball room to see how it looks I almost tripped once in my high heels. I try looking for everyone but I didn't find anyone. I open the doors to the ballroom and it was beautiful! Everything was gold, white, and purple. The decorations were fancy with the table clothes, dining tools, and flowers. I guess that I was early because five minutes later people started arriving. The room filled within minutes I saw princesses,pirates , and princes. I looked around and the families started to enter I saw this little girl in a blue dress walking with her parents that looked like Axel. I saw more families enter the room and then the boys finally came in. I saw a guard, doctor, prince, and monsters.
"Oof" I said I bumped into a vampire I looked up and saw Axel.
"Axel?" I asked he gave me a smirked and looked down at me.
"You look amazing what are you?"
"I'm suppose to be a mysterious women." I said he kind of made a giggle
"Well you look mysterious to me-" He was caught in a hug by the little girl I saw.
"Axel, Axel, Axel! I missed you so much, mom and dad keep bossing me around to do chores. And then mom going to have uncle Rick stay at the house. Aw I missed you!" She said she hugged him and I swear I saw a tears in Axel eyes.
"Andrea this is Princess Ruby and Princess Ruby this is my sister Andrea." She looked at me with big eyes and hugged me. I was taken back by her affection
"Andrea! You shouldn't do that!" He yelled I hugged her back and let her go to her brother.
"It's quite alright. You seem beautiful tonight you must be the prettiest girl here." I said she turned red a little. A couple walked over to us and bow down to me. They looked at Axel and gave him a hug the woman was crying. The woman had brown hair, blue eyes, and a wonderful smile. The male had blonde hair, brown eyes, and freckles like Axel.
"Oh Ruby these are my parents" he said
"I'm Chris and this is my wife Beatrix" he shock my hand and the Beatrix hugged me slightly I gave her a full hug and she smiled.
"It's wonderful to meet you both you have a very good son." I said they looked a proud at him
"Well it was very nice meeting you I have to go meet the other parents." I said and walked off to the other families. After a little while I went to the balcony to get some air.
"You came out to?" I looked behind to see Luke
"Ya it was getting stuffy in there...why aren't you with your family?" I asked
"Family didn't show since they run a country." He said he walked over and stand beside me.
"So why aren't you in there with your guest or family?"
"My parents are busy and some of the family are...interesting." I said he nodded in agreement
"I like your outfit. Why did you pick a doctor though with the gloves, mask, and jacket?" I asked
"Why did you dress up as a sexy women?" He asked
"Well it was suppose to be a mysterious person." I confessed
"Well I like helping people and it's fun to dress up as a hero." He said he turned to face me and got a little to close to my comfort. He leaned in and kissed me on my mouth oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! I stayed calm and grabbed his hand. I was suppose to be with Axel not Luke. But I guess this is how the selection works he stood back and wrapped his arms around my waist as we looked at the stars. We were like this for a little bit until a guard came out.
"Princess Ruby and Prince Luke the party is coming to an end and the guest our leaving."
"Okay let's go inside now." I said I headed inside and Luke stayed back. I guess he didn't want to see if his parents came or not. I saw Axel saying good bye to his family he looked so happy with them. Was I taking them away once again? Would he be mad? Was I a horrible princess for doing this to him? He been gone for almost four months now from his family. It amazing how one person can care so much to do this for their family. I wanted to say good bye to his s family.
"Thank you so much for coming to the party. Mr. Rivermen can I speak to you outside in the garden so a few minutes?" He looked confused as so his family did but he followed with out question.
"I'm sorry for this I just wanted to talk to you alone."
I said
"It's quite alright. So what did you want to talk about Princess Ruby?"
"I wanted to learn about Axel and his life he doesn't talk much about his life and he barely talks at all sometimes. It's like he doesn't want to talk about or is trying to hide something from me. So I guess is what I'm trying to ask is does he not have a good pass? Or family problems?" He looked down for a second and then looked up and kept walking.
"Axel...Axel is a strange boy sometimes and he likes to keep to himself I don't really know why. But when he was little his mother was pregnant with twins he hope to see them, hold them, and play with them. But his mother got sick and it was bad she didn't realize but she was dealing with cancer in her head. So that affected the kids inside her once they were born only Andrea survive and then the other one didn't it die. He was heart broken after that and so was his mother. He doesn't like to talk about his family and what it could have been so I guess that's why he's quiet and his mother survive as you saw her tonight at was a wig she was wearing. She has health problems but is feeling better and should get better soon. It's hard for him to...express himself sometimes so that's probably why he quiet sometimes and doesn't talk." I fell into silence I didn't know what to say. I wanted to cry it was so sad what happen to his family.
"I'm sorry for your loss let's...let's go inside." I said we walked in and I said goodbyes to each of them. I grabbed on to Axel and pulled him to the gardens.
"What's wrong? Did my dad say something?" He asked
"No,no but...I'm sorry for your loss I didn't realize why did you not tell me?" I asked he finally understood what I was talking about.
"I don't want to talk about it."
"I do you need to talk about it."
"No!I don't Ruby I don't like talking about it." He said I grabbed his sleeve and pulled him into a hug.
"Ruby please I don't want to talk." He said chocking up I cry a little and so did he.
"I wanted to have another sibling and my mother I couldn't do anything about it." He cried on my shoulder.
"It wasn't fair! It wasn't fair..." he said he cried forever on my shoulder and I cried into his chest. I whipped my face off with my hand and looked at him.
"What about we go inside and clean up?"
"Ya let's do that Ruby...thanks for making me talk I think talking about it helps." He said we walked hand and hand until we got into my room. I walked to my bed and sat Axel down. We laid side by side on my bed with his arms rapped around me. He finally lean in and kiss me I rapped my hand around his neck I rapped my legs around him. He stopped and looked me in my eyes.
"I love you Ruby Black"
"And I love you Axel Rivermen" we made out for a little bit until we heard a knock on my door.
"Who is it?"
"It's Lexi and Mary"
"Shit, shit, shit" I said we jumped off the bed and we walked to the door casually.
"Bye Axel"
"Bye Princess Ruby" he bowed and walked away my maids looked at me with a smirk and walked in. Well they were going to ask questions but I didn't care I remember the way Axel hold me and his lip against mine. I fell asleep to the thought of Axel me and him, king and queen, husband and wife...
