The night before 💍

Joes POV -  17th July 2020, night before wedding. 6pm
Here we go! Dianne is still out with the girls picking up her dress and she is staying at Amy's tonight with all the girls and Ben is coming here so that in the morning they can all get Dianne ready. Dianne's parents are at a hotel in Wiltshire as we are actually getting up super early and getting ready and driving down to Wiltshire as neither me or Di wanted to get married in London so that was all good. Bens arriving at 7 so I have an hour to kill before he gets here. I decided to text Dianne
J:Joe D:Dianne
J: Hey peanut how's things going? Xx
D: Great thanks! We're watching a movie, Ben is on his way xx
J: Okay thanks, what movie? Xx
D: haha Joe and Casper Hit The Road.... 😂xx
J: haha you enjoying it then? Xx
D: were all crying 😂😂xx
J: At what bit? Xxx
D: Casper's singing, your pretty good but my god how did you deal with Casper in set 😂😂xx
J: I don't really know tbh 😂 xx
D: Well I gotta go, I love you so much and I'm so excited for tomorrow I miss you xxx
J: aww okay, I love you and miss you too, I can't wait to be married to you my little honey roasted peanut.
D: I love you, bye xxx
J: Love you too baby, bye xxx

I turned my phone off and set it on the sofa beside me and then there was a knock at the door. I got up and opened the door.
"Hey Ben!"
"Hey mate, how's it going?" He asked
"Really well, I miss Di tho" I laugh
"She's Okay she's with the girls. Not to worry you but she's really nervous and yeah she misses you too to the point where she's crying" Ben told me.
"Well then that's a good thing that we're getting married then eh" I said through a fake smile. Truth be told I'm nervous too. I miss Dianne way to much to the point where i actually feel like crying too. We've not really been apart for the last year or so so it does feel awfully weird but I can't wait to be married to my Peanut. Ben and I played Mario on the play station till about 9 and I decided I wanted an early night so I went up to my bedroom. I grabbed one of the T-shirt's Dianne always sleeps in as she had the other one and i put it on so I felt closer to her. I grabbed my phone off the side and decided to give her a quick FaceTime call to say goodnight. After a few rings she picked up and the screen showed her sat in the middle on the sofa with Amy, Janette, Katya, Oti and Karen.
D: "Hey babe everything okey?"
J: "Yeah fine I just miss you"
D: " awh I miss you too!"
KC: "Dianne you miss him more than you'll ever admit!"
KJ: "Joe she's had three panic attacks over you not being here"
D: "Shut up Katya I have not!"
JM: "Yeah you have Di"
J: "you've really had Panic Attacks over me?!"
D: "Yeah I guess I have"
J: "Awwhhh I really wanna just cuddle you and kiss you right now, the bed feels empty"
D: "My head feels sore cos I can't rest it on your heart!"
J: "I'm sleeping in one of my T-shirt's that you wear Di"
The girls - except Dianne: "awwwwwwwwwwwww"
D: "yeah well I went through all your T-shirt's and found the one you first kissed me In so I'm wearing that!"
The girls & Joe: "awwwwwwwhhhh"
J: "I love you peanut but you need some sleep. Big day tomorrow"
D: "oh I know! I'm so excited!!!"
J: "I love you so much"
D: "I love you more"
J: "no I love YOU more!"
O: "Does it really matter who loves each other more?!"
D: "Yes it does Oti! I win, Joe I love you more!"
J: "hmm okay, kiss?"
D: "sure"
They kiss the cameras on their phones and the girls errupt into high pitched sqeals. I hung up the FaceTime call and let a tear roll down my cheek.
"I love you more than you will ever know" I thought trying to use our connection to talk to her.

Dianne's POV
My head started to feel fuzzy so I ignored my friends and concentrated on mine and Joes Connection
"I love you more than you will ever know" he said
"I love you too. I would take a bullet for you babe" I Replied
"I wouldn't let you" he told me
"Oh okay, I gotta go Amy's trying to talk to me, love you" I Replied
"Okay darling, love you too"

I turned my attention back to my friends.
"Who were you talking to Dianne?" Amy asked me.
"Did I say that aloud?" I asked worryingly
"Yeah" Oti giggled
"Oh sorry" I said looking down shyly
"It's okay but who were you talking to?" Janette asked curiously
"Oh just joe" I replied
"How though? He hung up the phone like five minutes ago?!" Karen asked
"Wait you don't hav- " Janette said stopping in the middle of her sentence and staring at me in disbelief
"The same bond as you and Aljaz, yep we do!" I told her excitedly
"Omg congrats!!" She squealed hugging me tightly
"I'm sorry but what are we talking about?" Oti asked
"Well Joe and I and Janette and Ali have a connection where we can basically read each other's minds. It's like talking without actually telling them, or texting without a phone" Janette and I explained
"Woah that's so cool I wish Neil and I had that!" Katya said in shock.

We chatted for another 20 minuets and then we went to bed. It felt so cold and empty without Joe and I had no heartbeat to listen to so I put Joes song on hoping it would help and as a matter of fact it did!
