Joes POV
It's 9am on December 2nd 2020. Last night after some cuddles our families left so that we could settle with the babies. Last night we both got a decent amount of sleep, all the babies were good and I think Kayden only awoke once or twice, but Adrienne on the other hand woke either Dianne or I up at least every 2 hours! That's okay though seems as they aren't even a day old yet. At the moment Kayden and I are the only ones awake so I decided to let the girls sleep and have some time just me and my son. I cuddled him and showered him with kisses while quietly chatting away to him. A few minutes later and Camilla started to cry so I stood up and walked over to her cot still holding Kay. I put her dummy back in her mouth and she started to calm down, she lay awake for a while and I put Kayden in her cot, two of my gorgeous babies!

I thought then maybe I could surprise Dianne and put all four of the kids in their matching onesies, so I walked over to the bag and got all four of them out along with some wet wipes and new nappies. I grabbed Adrienne's and picked her up out of the cot making sure I had the right twin out of her and Abi and put her on the changing table. I changed her nappy and slipped her purple onesie and headband on, the onesie had an 'A' on the back, i loved it! I did Kayden aswell and as I was halfway through putting Cam's onesie on and Dianne started to stir, I knew exactly what to do. I stopped what I was doing and placed a blanket gently over Camilla making sure she wasn't going to roll and rushed over to the bed. I sat down by Dianne gently and started caressing her back and thigh, she always loved when I did that. She rolled over and her eyes fluttered open.
"Hey baby I love you" she whispered into my mouth, I closed the gap and kissed her sweetly.
"I'm so tired!" She said rubbing her eyes.
"Go back to sleep then baby" I told her.
"Okay but what about the babies?" Dianne questioned
"They're fine, they've got daddy!" I reassured her.
"Okay, you know though I can't sleep without you rubbing my hand and singing to me!" Dianne told me sweetly
"Oh okay fine..." I Replied pick up her hand and rubbin it gently.
"Sing then!" She whispered
"Why are there so many, songs about rainbows and what's on the other side... rainbows are visions but only illusions and rainbows have nothing to hide..."
I carried on singing until a soft snore started coming out of Dianne's mouth. I carefully stood up and went back to changing Camilla. Once I had changed her and Abigail I got out my phone and started a Instagram story.
"Hey guys, I just want to tell you that all four of our babies are okay and so is mumma bear... she's gonna kill me for that! But I honestly just want to tell you Dianne, my beautiful wifey, my rock, my world how proud I am of you for being so brave, it was so so scary when Kayden wasn't breathing but we got through it and look at him now! Daddy's big strong boy! Dianne I love you so much and I'm so excited for what the future holds four us and our four beautiful babies.

I tagged Dianne and posted it to my instagram story, I then put my phone on mute as Adri started to cry. Dianne's eyes shot open and she rolled over and sat up.
"It's okay, I got her!" I said picking up Adrienne and putting her dummy in her mouth before bouncing her gently.
"Babe she's probably hungry, none of them have eaten since 3!" Dianne told me
"Awh you put them in their onesies!" Dianne squealed picking up a crying Abigail and starting to feed her. She fed Abi and then I gave her Adri and she fed her while I burped Abi, she then fed Kay while I burped Adri and then Abi was sick so I changed her while Dianne fed Camilla and then I burped Kayden and she burped Camilla. Suddenly Dianne's phone rang, it was Janette.
Ja: Hey babe how're you?!
D: Hey girl I'm good! You?
Ja: Yeah I'm great, how's the daddy and babies
J: were all great thanks Janette!
Ja: I'm glad to hear it!
D: hang on Adrienne's been sick, babe take the phone *dianne hands me the phone*
Ja: Aw bless!
J: here Di *i handed her a cloth, wet wipes and a fresh onesie*
Ja: Joe, Dianne you wouldn't mind if me Ali, Amy and Ben popped out to see the kids in a bit would you?
J: no of course not, we would love to see you!
D: no problem, we have a surprise for all four of you anyway!
Ja: Cool, can we come at maybe 10:30?
D: Sure
J: yep, I will text Aljaz the ward and room and stuff.
Ja: great thanks Joe, see you all later, all 1,2,3... six of you!
*all laugh*
J: bye Janette!
D: Bye babes, love you!
Ja: Love you too!

We end the call just as Kayden fills his nappy and Abigail starts to cry...
God our life is manic!
