Blood and Tears....

Joes POV
The police found us quick enough and two of them grabbed Anthony and cuffed him. The other officer and I helped Dianne up and the paramedics examined Dianne's wounds
"Thankfully she will be okay with minor cuts but we will put a dressing on the one on her leg and she will need to rest for a few hours, she is not to walk for the next 2 and a half hours so you will need to carry her Joe" the paramedics told me and I nodded,
"Thank you" Dianne said weakly as they finished dressing her wound using the light off mine and Dianne's phones. I scooped Dianne up into my arms and the police that were holding Anthony started questioning him.
"Mr Quinlan what makes you think it is acceptable to do this to Mrs Sugg?" They asked firmly. Anthony just mumbled.
"Whatever you say can be used as evidence or against you in court so speak clearly" the officer said
"I hate him" he mumbled pointing at me
"Yes okay but why" the policeman asked
"I JUST DO, HE TOOK THAT BITCH FROM ME AND HE DOESN'T DESERVE HER AND I DO" he shouted and launched at me, Dianne cuddled her head into my chest and I stepped back to let the officers restrain Anthony.
"Anthony Quinlan your under arrest for failing to report to an official officer and for causing unnecessary harm and harassment to an innocent woman" the officer told him as he lead him down the stairs and shoved him into the police car. Once they were a good distance away I sat down on a bench and Dianne rested on my knee, her arms round my neck and her head on my shoulder. I called Amy.
"Hey Amy can you please come and get Dianne and I we are on regent street, come as quickly as possible" I told her
"Okay Joe, is everything okay, we are putting our shoes on now, where are you again?"
"Outside Topshop on regent street and no were not okay, I'll explain in a minute please bring a blanket and some warm stuff for Dianne" I asked as it was starting to get cold and Dianne was cuddled into me, pale as the moon half asleep and shivering. "Okay were coming as fast as we can see you in a minute"
"Thanks amy" I said before putting my phone down and wrapping my arms round Dianne, it's 7:30 now and it's getting colder. I heard a car pull up and then Amy's welsh voice call out
"JOE, DIANNE?"
"AMY IM COMING, HELP ME!" I shouted appearing from the alley with a pale pretty much asleep shivering Dianne
"Oh my god!" Amy shouted.
"I'll explain on the way, just Ben please take us home" I said putting Dianne in the back of the car, strapping her in and pulling the blankets over her that Amy had bought. I got in the car and Ben started driving. Amy looked back at her best friend and I could see the fear rising in her eyes and that she was holding back tears and to be honest I felt the same except I was actually crying.
"Joe what the hell happened to her, how long has she been like this, what're all the marks on her?" Amy questioned worriedly.
"So we were walking down the street and Anthony approached us, we didn't recognize him at first until he violently took off Dianne's wedding ring and threw it at me before flinging her onto his shoulder and running off into a house down the alley" I said crying, Amy started to cry too I put my hand over onto Dianne's stomach and she very weakly whispered
"baby bean gone"
"What's that Di?" I asked softly
"The baby" she struggled
"What baby" I asked curiously
"Joe I think bean is dead"
"What baby bean Dianne?" Amy asked
"I was gonna surprise you tomorrow on the beach Joe but I just felt the blood. The baby bean is gone"
Dianne and I burst into tears
"Oh my goddd" I cried and Dianne leant into my shoulder.
"Sh sh sh it's okay" comforted her as she cried voilently into my chest.
"Oh my god guys I'm so sorry...."
Amy sobbed to us from the front seat. Dianne used all her strength to lean forward and hold Amy's hand and mine. We pulled up outside our house and I lifted Dianne out the car
"Thanks guys" I said to Amy and Ben as I carried Dianne up to the frontsteps
"The keys are in my back pocket" I told Dianne as I held her. She got the keys from my pocket and unlocked the door, I kicked it open and carried her inside. She kicked her shoes off and I set her down on the stairs so I could take my shoes off and sort out my stuff. I then picked her back up and carried her up the stairs.
"Babe I want a bath" she told me
"Sure, do you want help?" I asked knowing that she was still very upset about bean, So was I,  and very sore from the cuts and bruises of the belt.
"Please.... could you get in with me?" She asked looking at me with puppy dog eyes
"Haha how could I say no to you" I whispered kissing her
"I love you" She said to me
"I love you, Sophie and Bean" I said looking up at the ceiling tears in my eyes.
"Can I just ask one thing about bean?" I asked Dianne
"Yeah sure" She said tears beginning to stream down her face
"How old was he/she?"
"You got me pregnant on the night after our wedding...." She sobbed into my chest
"Okay, it's okay, let it all out" I said crying now myself.....
"joe can you run the bath please" she cried
"Of course" I said kissing her head
"Thank you" She replied tears streaming down her face.
"Do you have a spare test just so you can check that.... that....that bean is gone..?"
"Yyyyess I d d do it's in the cabinet" she said pointing at the medicine cabinet. I passed it to her and she peed on it. We waited for the 30 seconds required..... and then turned it over
Girl
It said.... I'm so confused..... does this mean bean isn't dead and that it's a girl or that she's still dead but it was a girl?!
"Oh I forgot that's the gender one!" Dianne said crying and pulling me into a big hug
"It's a girllll" I cried into her shoulder
"But joe we still don't know if she's okay?"
"Okay let me grab the other test" I said shaking, I handed it to Dianne and she used it...we waited and then flipped it over......
