"Where am I?" I wondered aloud, my voice cracked and groggy sounding. I shuffled around on what felt like a bed, my hands searching for my alarm clock. "Oh your awake?" Another groggy voice asked me kindly. I cracked my eyes open, squinting at the tall figure by my bed. "Skinner? What are you doing in my room?" I asked, he chuckled and placed a plate of food on the night stand by my bed. "Actually you are in my room. And don't worry, I slept on the couch." I nodded and looked over at the plate of burnt eggs and bacon and the small glass of water. "Sorry I'm not the best cook..." Skinner said, looking from the food to me apologetically. I smiled lightly and grabbed the plate from the nightstand and sitting up straight in the bed before shoving a forkful of the eggs in my mouth. "Not that bad." I muttered, stuffing a piece of bacon in my mouth as i looked around his room.
"Wow." I deadpanned as my eyes scanned across the mess he considered a room. Clothing and beer bottles every were, the floor was hardly visible, and I'm pretty sure he had at least ten guns just lying around. He smiled sheepishly and sat down on the bed beside me. "Sorry, I'm not really good at cleaning up after myself ether." I laughed and shook my head, placing the empty plate on the night stand. "So....what exactly happened last night?" Skinner questioned, looking at me through his messy hair. I looked down at my hands as the events of last night and the dream all came crashing back to me. A stray tear rolled down my cheek followed by a sob from me. "Oh no don't cry princess, you don't have to tell me. You're okay now." Skinner soothed, wiping the tears from my eyes and pulling me onto his lap. After a couple minutes of me crying and him running his fingers through my hair I started to tell him about last night. Including the dream and the exact words I said to Tyler when I woke up, which he laughed at and congratulated me for. After I finished he stayed silent for a wile before mumbling a quiet sorry and hugging me once again.
"Sounds to me like you had a pretty rough night. I'll leave you to get some more rest, call me if you need me. Its still storming out so you can stay here till it lets up." He offered as he walked over to the door. "Wait! How long have I been here?" I asked him just as he was about to close the door. "Just three hours, sleep tight." He chuckled, closing the door behind him quietly. I layed my head back down on the pillow and stared at the ceiling. Ray and Damian are probably freaking out right about now. I can't believe I actually said that to Tyler. He'll probably murder me next time I see him, wonderful.
Please forgive me.. I thought just before sleep pulled me into its maze of dreams and nightmares.

"Well fuck." I mumbled, tugging my hands through my messy white hair. I need the damn money...But to get it I'm gonna have to give up MY girl to get it. I groaned at the thought and flopped down on a chair. "Fuck." I muttered, pulling out my vibrating phone. "What?" I asked rudely into the phone.
"Skinner? How are things going? You better not be waisting my fucking time boy." My boss growled from the other end of the phone. I scoffed and pulled out a smoke, lighting it and taking a puff before replying. "No sir. Tyler appears to be the monster of the school. No body messes with him unless they want to be found dead in a ditch the next morning," I chuckled before continuing. "He ain't close to anyone..except his causing Ray and....a..friend of his." I informed him, not wanting to tell him about Avery.
"A friend? What kind of friend? Whats his name?" Came my annoyed reply, I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. "Avery. He's not necessarily close to her, but he's pretty damn protective of her." I said, hoping he wouldn't remember the name. "But sir, that girl is mine. She is not going to become a part of this understand?" I growled into the phone, feeling the need to in force the fact that she was my property and no one elses. "Actually. I'm the one with the money here boy, and if that girl can help me in anyway, then I will use her as I please. Now, Avery who? The name sounds...familiar." I bashed my fist against the table; "I promised you to help get revenge on you're pathetic son! Keep her out of this!" I yelled, I walked over and peeked inside my room checking to see if my yelling had woken her up. She mumbled something quietly before rolling over to the other side of the bed. Still asleep.
