I didn't ask to be born. That was their choice. I didn't ask to be given this power. It was forced upon me. I didn't ask for this responsibility. But it is now my job. The Unwanted depend on me.

They look like everyone else. Sound like everyone else. Have feelings like everyone else. We blend in with the rest of the world, yet we couldn't be more different. If it weren't for me, they would all be forced to walk on this earth being hunted, with constant hatred and fear in their hearts.

There are several of us out there. Many of them grew up without a name because no one gave them one. Without a home, because no one was there to shelter them. Without a family, because no one loved them enough. But the one thing they did give us all was this power. This burden. This curse.

The Unwanted have been psychologically tortured. Forced into isolation by a world that rejected them. They close themselves off from the world as feelings of inadequacy consume them. They avoid the world, but the pain doesn't stop. They think their words have no meaning, their interests hold no value, their lives have no worth.

But they still try. They continue to fight to defy this unfairness and rather than despairing and giving up because they are not loved, they believe it isn't the end for them and continue on the path straight ahead of them. It is a harsh and painful road, but that is their curse. This agonizing curse that has controlled and discouraged them all their lives.

For those who feel this way, it's my job to find you and change your thoughts. To support you as we learn to overcome this curse.

The Curse of The Unwanted.
