It bothered Bucky how a girl he just met knew his real name a name he hated cause of his dad. He didn't go to his mom cause he was sure she didn't know who she was. He was watching Addalynn at cheer practice with Sam "So you still don't know how you know the new girl."
"It's been bugging me for the past two weeks. I mean she's beautiful how could I forget someone so beautiful." Bucky said
"I don't know you normally remember girls you slept with. She didn't slap you so that's a good sign that you didn't sleep with her." Sam said
"True." Bucky said
He watched a few minutes longer than he said "Alright I'm out catch you later Sam."
"See ya later man." Sam said
Bucky made sure the counselor's office was closed he picked the lock and went into the room with all the student files on it. He found Addalyn's file
"Addalyn Joanne Thomas. Born March 15th at Fort Meyer in Arlington VA.
Parents Carrie Thomas and Retired Lt Col Mark Thomas.
"Damn daddy was making good money darlin." he whispered as he kept reading her file.
"Last high school attended Military base school in Greece. Languages: German French Italian English Japanese Spanish and Dutch." he read to himself
"Geez darlin.. how in the hell do I know you then." he said then closed her file and put it back then left the school.
When he got home he ate his dinner and then did his homework then Lindsey came over and they fooled around. Addalynn stopped and got her some food on her way home then headed home after practice. She got her homework done and went to sleep. She hated that he watched cheer practice cause she was still mad at him and it bothered her so much more that he flirted with so many girls and that he was riding that motorcycle without a helmet and all she could think about was how could Winnie and James allow him to be like this.
She tossed and turned all night thinking those thoughts till she finally gave way to sleep. The next morning while she played with her eggs her mom said "How about I find out where they are living and we can have them over for dinner and see what's been going on."
"What's the use mom he clearly isn't the same James anymore he wants everyone including teachers to call him Bucky." she said
Carrie looked down then looked to her husband and he shrugged his shoulders. Addalynn got up and left for school she walked right past the group of friends. The girls looked down and Bucky seen them
"You three know don't you." he said
"Yeah but we have been sworn to secrecy and we wouldn't tell you anyways you don't deserve to know how you know that beautiful sweet girl." Wanda said as the girls walked away.
While she was at school Carrie was at the grocery store trying to pick out some meat when she heard "Carrie Thomas?"
She looked up and said "Oh my god Winnie Barnes." she said as she hugged her.
"Well it's um Winnie Taylor now." she said
"Your maiden name?' Carrie said
"Me and James got a divorce 3 years ago. I didn't know you were back in town." Winnie said
"Yeah we are living here now Mark retired earlier this year we wanted to come home." she said
"James never said a word about seeing Addalynn. Although to be honest he doesn't really talk to me or his dad." she said
"Winnie .. James didn't say anything cause he basically broke Addalyn's heart into tiny pieces because he claimed to not remember her when she seen him for the first time and called him James. He asked if he knew her from somewhere." Carrie said
"What?! Why would he say that to her they were attached to the hip." Winnie said
"I don't know that's what she told me. She has been really hurt about the whole thing." Carrie sadi
The two ladies continued to talk then agreed to set up a time to have dinner and exchanged phone numbers.
